(Trigger warning: homophobia)

   Maria's POV

These last few days have been apparently hectic for Sam. I wonder what's even going with him. The only times that he actually ever invites me over to his dorm is when something is wrong. So here I am now, standing at his door while yelling goes on inside.

Voice A, that sounded much older than Samuel, yelled back at Voice B, who sounded more feminine. Voice B then yelled at who I thought might have been George? I knocked on the door finally and someone rushed over to it. A crying Sam stood there as Voice A and B continued to yell at George.

"What the actual hell is going on Sam? By the way who is that?" I whispered to him as he wiped his eyes with his slightly oversized sweater. He looked back at the people before turning to me and looking down. "Those are m-my parents... the-they found ou-out..." he whispered slightly before rushing off to his room in a sobbing mess.

I instantly went over to George and dragged him into the nearest room. "What the hell happened?!" I asked with a slight yell. "So Sam's parents appeared literally out of nowhere and I guess that they found out that we're dating so now his parents are really mad and I don't know what to do. Sam is crying and his parents won't stop yelling and like his mom started crying a few times too and just-" he stopped rambling for a second and took a deep breath.

"This situation is shitty- how the- how the hell did they even find out?" I asked slightly yelling again. "I don't fucking know okay?! I don't know how they found out but they did and they won't shut up about it!" He yelled back at me. Sam's parents continued talking to each other in a more settled voice in the other room. "Sam? Are you okay? Open the door please." I asked while jiggling the knob a bit and knocking lightly. He seemed to get quieter as a few minutes passed.

George got more worried by each second that passed that Sam was still locked in that room. "You try Sam and I'll try to calm his parents down." I said to him before going into the living room. I sat them down so that I could at least try and talk something into them.

   George's POV

I've tried knocking, I've tried talking, I've tried opening the door, I've every single thing but he won't open the door! I'm worried that he hurt himself or something! He gets really sad when he's yelled at and being alone by himself isn't the best option.

"Samuel Seabury I will break down this door! Please open it, love." I said to him before leaning my head against the door. A few more minutes passed before I actually decided to do what I told him. Break down the door.
