"Do you think he can hear us?" The familiar child-like voice said. It sounded blurry and far away. The farthest of any of the voices I've heard in awhile.... what's going on? How long has it even been since this white-washed place has been the only thing I see?

Other drowned out and distant voices talked. I understood a few words and other voices. They sounded familiar in a way. I've never heard them, but they were familiar. A choked sob made its way to whatever I was hearing from. Everything sounded like it was underwater, underwater and very distant.

Everything was quiet again too fast. The only sound that could be left was a light beeping coming from somewhere. It just kept going in the same steady way, over, and over, and over...... this will drive me insane before it's over, I swear that it will.

A low murmur of conversation filled the space again. These voices are also familiar but I just can't remember who they are. Just can't think of who they are... who are they? I can't put my finger on it. I can't remember. The voices were gone all too quickly for my liking.

Everything has been passing in this fast manner of talking. I never hear what they say and I can never make out who they are. Nothing but voices. Just voices and beeping. That same steady stream of beeping. Beeping that seems to never stop coming.

If only streams could die faster I wouldn't the going through this torture right now.

What time was it? What day even is it? God these days. Minutes seem to pass by in seconds, probably even faster. Everything is gone too soon and I can't explain why, it's just all gone too soon.
