"I'm telling you, Jas. We're going to love it here!" My mother said pulling into the driveway. My mum just got engaged to her co-worker who somehow convinced her to move from 'The Big Apple' to some small town. We got out of the car, grabbed our suitcases and headed towards the front door. A fairly short boy who looked to be my age opened the door.

"Hi, i'm Doug. You must be Jaslin?" He asked questionably. I nodded.

"It's nice to meet you but you can just call me Jas." We shook hands and he let us into the house.

"Dad's just getting ready, upstairs." He said to my mom. She thanked him and walked up to his room.

"I'm sorry, do you mind showing me to my room." I asked, nervously.

"Oh of course not! Here come with me." We went upstairs, he lead me to my room and then went to his own room which was next to mine. It was a large room with white walls and a large bed in the middle. I placed down my suitcase on the bed and began unpacking.

A couple of minutes later, the doorbell rang. Doug opened his door and ran down the stairs. I ignored it and put away the rest of my clothes before putting away my suitcase.

"Hey Jas, this is my friend Randy." I looked up from my closet and saw the most beautiful boy i've ever seen in my life. He was tall, blonde and had the most perfect smile.

"It's very nice to meet you." He said. Oh lord, even his voice was amazing.

"You too." I muttered, in awe. He smirked to me and they then went into Doug's room and I was left there. Thinking about Randy.

One Week Later

I walked around the neighbourhood, hoping to get to know it better. Since we came here, all we've been doing is going on road trips outside of the town since it's the summer holidays.

I stumbled upon a large baseball field and noticed a tall boy standing near the pitch with a baseball bat in his hand. I then noticed it was the beauty of a boy I met the other day.

"Randy!" I yelled. He turned towards me and smiled in my direction. I walked towards him and as I got closer I took in every little aspect about him.

"Hey Jas, what are you doing here?" He asked.

"I'm just trying to explore these streets a little since I barely know my way around." I laughed and looked down to the bat in his hands. "You play?"

"Yeah, do you?" I nodded and he handed me the bat. "Give me your best shot." I swung the bat back and hit the ball making it go all the way to the other side of the field. He stared at the ball in awe and turned to me. "Where did you learn to hit like that?"

"Living in New York taught me a few things, I guess." I scratched the back of my head. He smiled and suddenly, it got awkward. We drew little circles in the dirt with the tip of our sneakers and stood in silence.

"Uh you mentioned before that you don't know your way around, would you let me show you?" He requested.

"I would love that." I replied, smiling. He smiled nervously and we began walking wherever our feet would take us. We talked for what seemed like forever until he stopped me. "Why are we stopping?" I asked.

"Come with me." He grabbed my hand and lead me to a cliff surrounded with large rocks and trees with a body of water below us. It was peaceful. "Isn't it beautiful?" He asked, still holding my hand.

"Why did you bring me here?"

"I wanted to show you where I go when things get too much." He took a deep breath. "I've wanted to share it with somebody for ages but i've never found the right person to show it to." I looked away from the view and met his gaze. "I know I haven't known you very long and there are hundreds of other guys in the neighbourhood which are probably all better than me but, I don't know, you intrigue me, Jaslin." I was beaming, in a state of deep euphoria.

"Randy Mitchell, you are extraordinary." He chuckled and stared into my eyes, lovingly. He took a small step closer to me, cupped my face gently and began to slowly lean in.

"Is this okay?" He asked, cautiously. I nodded and he closed the gap between us, connecting our lips. It was only short but I swear in that moment, I felt infinite. He pulled away and smiled gently to me. "It's getting dark, let's go home." And with that, we walked home. Just two kids who fell in love, slowly and then all at once.

I love Randy so much wowzas
