Sneaking Around Isn't Always Fair

Chapter 6******

    School was finally over. I was so happy we were on summer vacation. No school for 3 months hell yeah!

After school I went over Langston’s house. We are going to the movies. It’s a tradition we do every year at the end of school.

“Lang I have to go to my house first to get clothes to stay over.” I say to Langston while walking to my car. Yes I finally got a freaking car. It was a hot pink corvette.

“Alright, Girl be on time you know you like being late.” She says.

“I’m not. I promise.”  I said to her getting in my car.

I finally get to Langston’s house. I ring the door bell and Langston opens it. I walk to the living room and I am not happy with what I seen. Bob and Bill were there. Last time I checked this was only traditional for me and Langston. She knows where my feelings are why she would do something like that.

“Lang can I speak to you in your room please.” I tried to say with little emotion there.

“Sure.” She says walking up the stairs.

We get to her room and first I just stare at her. Then I finally talked.

“Why the hell are they here?” I asked her still trying to be calm.

“I invited them. They are our friends you know.” She says.

“Yeah but you know I’ve been avoiding them though. Especially Bill and you know my reason why.” I say getting a little sad.

“It has been a whole month Nadia.” She took a deep breath and looked at me with so much concern in her eyes and said “I think you should tell them about your past so they will know.”

“Okay.” I said trying to hold back my tears but that didn’t stop them. Going downstairs I tried to hide the tears but they kept on falling.

“What’s wrong Nadia? Why are you crying?” Bob asks.

I go take a seat on one of Langston’s bean bags. I begin to tell them what happened in the past.

After I was finished it was silent for a bit then Langston says “Are we still up for the movie?”

“Of course.” I say getting up and heading for the door.

We all take Langston’s car and head to the Movie Theater.

We get to the movie theater and walked up to the ticket booth to buy our tickets. We are going to see Ride Along.

Bill goes get popcorn and candy while I, Langston, and Bob go get our seats. As soon as the movie starts Bill comes sit down next to me. This movie is hilarious.

The movie is now over. Man I really loved that movie. We all get back in Langston’s car and head back to her house.

We get to Langston’s house and we are at her door waiting for her to open it as soon as she opens it everybody starts going in except for Bill. He grabs my arm and says “Can we talk out here for a minute?”

“Sure. What’s up?” I said closing the door behind us.

“I’m sorry about your past. If I would have known about that I would have never had sex with you that night. I do want you to know I have some type of feelings for you though. I like you Nadia. I’ve liked you since the first day I’ve met you.” Bill says and I can see the seriousness in his face. I know he is telling truth. But what should I say.
