Mark hit a note so well it amazed Jack and he gasped a little.
“Are you there?” *SHIT* “Let me out!! … Or at least show yourself!?” Marks terrified attempts to sound scary made Jack feel bad.
“Don’t be scared…” “JACK!? Are you okay?” Marks sudden concern confused Jack. “Yes, I’m sorry” “Why? No, don’t be!” Jack rips the door open, frustrated now. “YES MARK! I NEED TO BE SORRY! THIS is my fault…”
The confession made Marks eyes as wide as dinner plates. “You? Why?” Jack didn’t answer. He just fell to Marks knees, holding back his tears.
“I’m so sorry” “Jack, is there something you aren’t telling me?” Mark faked concern now. He was mad, but since Jack could do THIS, Mark didn’t feel like finding out what else he could do.
