The Bad Horan (Dark Niall Fanfic)

Chapter 3

* KELLY'S POV *

Advantage and disadvantage of today as the last bell rings for the day.

I finally get to go home, bad thing is I have to go home with Niall. I disliked him very much. I don't know how someone is so annoying, why are his friends pretty nice?

I see Niall at the main entrance of the school. I wonder if he's as annoyed of us being partners as much as I am. I start walking towards him and he notices. His face lights up a bit, I check behind me and see there's no one. Is he happy to see me? He can't be. We dislike each other too much.

"Hey babe." He tells me once I reach him. I roll my eyes.

"Look it's Kelly to you. Okay? My place or yours?"

"Let's go to yo-"

"Hey Kelly! Ready to go?" Carlos asks me while he puts his arm around my shoulder. I see Niall staring at his arm. I smirk at the thought of him being jealous.

"Um.. Hey Carlos. I have this project due so instead of going for pizza like usual, can you drop me off at my house? This is just temporary until I finish this stupid project." I say the last words a little quieter than the rest.

"Uh.. Yea sure." I feel bad. I see disappointment on his face. He shouldn't feel bad.

Once Carlos drops both Niall & I at my house I hug him and wave goodbye. Leading Niall to my house he starts asking what our project should be about.

"Honestly, I have no idea yet. My dad might be home so if he is you have to be nice. You seem like quite the jerk." The last part of my comment was a tad bit quieter than the rest of it. I said this with a small smirk while slowly looking up at his face.

"Don't worry babe, just trying to tease you." He told me with a small wink on his right eye.

I opened the door and prayed that my dad wasn't home tonight. I don't want him meeting Niall. Niall isn't exactly... The best guy my dad could meet.

Once Niall and I walk into the house I'm quite disappointed when I see my dad sitting on the couch while watching something on the living room tv.

* NIALL'S POV *

I know if I just act somewhat nice he'll like me. I'll be able to surprise Kelly too. She's fun to tease. She seems to take everything serious, maybe I can show her something fun for once.

"Hey sweetie. Who's your friend?" Woah, her and her dad have many features in common.

"He's not m-"

"Hello sir, my name is Niall. I'm here with your lovely daughter because we have been partnered up to do a significant project together. Basically here to study." With that said I put on the best and most fake smile I could manage.

I tried keeping my laugh in when I looked over at Kelly and saw her mouth fell open, I knew she'd be surprised by my self introduction.

Once that left my mouth I stuck my hand out for him to shake, he looked me over, smiled, and shook my hand.

"Nice to meet you son," okay, he believed it. Score. "I'm leaving some money on the kitchen counter so you guys can order or go somewhere for dinner, I'm leaving in about... Now. Bye sweetie." as he was leaving out of their front door Mr.Gold was waving goodbye to Kelly. He's gone now.

"So um.. Do you wanna order or go out? Hurry and choose so we can start thinking an idea for our project." she's a feisty small one. I'd like to stay here though, I don't want Blake seeing me with anyone other than the boys. I can't risk that.

"How about we stay here and order something? That way, we wouldn't have to waste a lot of time and get this thing over with."

She looked like she was wondering what we should order. Goodness, she was adorable. Nobody can know I think this. Oh god what if Harry and Zayn find out Kelly and I were partnered up? I can't let that happen, I know for a fact that they fancy her.

"Is that fine with you?" Didn't realize she said something. I feel like an idiot

"Um, actually I didn't hear you, what'd you say babe?" Her cheeks reddened at my little pet name. I love this.

"It's Kelly. And I asked if ordering from The Arch was okay with you?"

"The Arch?" Todd works there. She can't know that, I know he's a delivery boy but honestly, what are the chances of Todd delivering food to Kelly's place? A pretty low one if you ask me.

"Yea, is that a problem? If it is we can totally order from Velma's or wher-" I felt the need to interrupt her.

"It's fine. Go ahead and order, I'd like some grilled chicken with nothing except the chips on the side."

"What do you want to drink though?"

"Get me a lemonade, oh and, where's the bathroom, I kinda need to take a wee."

"Go up the stairs and there's one at the end of the first hallway."

Ding ding

"I'll get it." She smiled at me while walking up to get the door. It's been about 20 minutes and all that's happened is Kelly telling me why this is important.

I followed behind her and put and arm around her waist, I was quite surprised when I noticed her not pushing me away or her removing my arm.

Once she opened that door I regret putting a tighter grip on her hip and her removing my arm. Once I saw his small smirk, and him looking her body over, I regret not having my arm around her looking like she was mine, the last thing her needed to know was that Kelly didn't have anyone to protect her.. Yet.
