I stood outside at the doors of the lecture room and knocking my head on the wall, I can't believe that I just got kicked out of class for the first time.

I really need to pass this course or else I will get kicked out of this course for real. I don't like this course a lot, it is all because that this course is the slackest course.

I don't even need to go to class much. Classes are only thrice per week and only 1 lecture of 3 hours, I wanted to go to the school of design but places are fully booked. I submitted the application form and who knew that it is that popular, so I had no choice but to stick to this engineering course and graduate with an engineering degree.

"Says the one who told me to stop knocking on the desk, she is the one knocking her head on the wall. Hope that you go stupid soon." My lips pressed to form a thin line and I turned around to see that guy leaning against the wall just next to me.

"It is all because of you that I got kicked out of class!"

"I am not the only one at fault, you are. Now that you kicked out of class, you can choose another course with me."

"No thanks. I will try to plead with the lecturer to see if I can still join the class. You can go to another course on your own."

"You do know that this particular lecturer is strict as hell. He wouldn't accept students that have been kicked out of class except for one condition."

"What condition?" I came close to him.

"You must have good grades of at least A for all your assignments, do you have that?" My smile immediately faded. Right, I don't have the grades that the lecturer wanted as all my grades are either Bs or Cs. I even got a D once.

"You don't have that right? Then forget about going back into that course, Evil Nerd." What did he just called me?? Evil Nerd??

I was going to get back at him when the doors of the lecture room suddenly opened, the class is over. I can't even get close to him as there were a lot of students coming out of the lecture room.

"I'm going to hit you everytime I see you. I swear." I mumbled in my breath before going back into the lecture room.

I spotted the lecturer at the table clearing up some notes and assignments. "Saem! Wait for a moment!"

[Saem is the abbreviation of teacher (Seongsaengnim in Korean)]

"Oh, you are that student that I called out just earlier. Jin DaYeong right?" He said.

"Yes, I am. I have something to ask you."

"What is it? Don't tell me that you are going to rejoin this class?"

"Yes, can I?"

"Jin DaYeong Hak Saeng, you do know that when I kicked out any student, I really meant to. And I have already crossed out your name out of my class list the moment I called your name. Kim MinGyu too, he is also out of the class."

"But--" Someone got hold of my hand and I was immediately behind of that ridiculous tall figure. "I apologize on behalf of her, sorry for wasting your precious time Mr. Lecturer." He bowed and dragged me out of the lecture room with him.

He let go of me and we are already at the tiny fountain in the school garden.
"Kim MinGyu, why did you drag me out like that? I wasn't done with the lecturer yet."

"I told you that there was no use trying to plead but you did. How stubborn can you be?"

"I can be as stubborn as I want and it is none of your business, go away!!" I said still trying to go but he gets hold of my wrist, stopping me.

"Can't you just accept the fact that you were kicked out of the course? Just choose another course, is it that hard?"

I yanked his hand off and faced him. "Yes, it is that hard because I don't have a choice. All my favorite courses are fully booked. Go away!" I said.

"Fine... I'll go. Plead all you want." He said. "Not having a flair for this course but still wanting to stay on. Fool." That was his last few words before he left.

I sat down at the edge of the fountain playing with the fountain water. What should I do? Continue to plead or just choose another course?

If I choose another course, it would be great but will I get the course that I wanted? I already hated this course but this course is the only course which will always have vacancies because the lecturer kicks out people that are annoying to him.

"Ugh!" I groaned and the phone decides to ring at this time, I looked at the caller ID.

I rolled my eyes and swiped it up which picked up the call. "Hello?"

"Where are you, DaYeong ssi? Seokmin and I have been finding you since class ended."

"I'm at the fountain."

"We will come over now."

"No need. I'm not in the mood to entertain you. Tell SeokMin that I'm going back to the dorms."

"Fine. Bye." And she hung up. How rude.

*Growl*

I touched my stomach. It hasn't been 3 hours since brunch and it is calling for another meal? What a glutton.

"Guess that I have to pay her a visit. I hope that she wouldn't mind." I said to myself and left the school grounds.

I took the subway and arrived at Itaewon, I walked along the streets salivating at all the foods sold there. I managed to pass through all of them without feeling the urge to go into any of the stores.

I arrived at a Thai restaurant with the name 'Sawadeebap' and entered.

[Sawadeekap is Thai for Hello (The male version) and Sawadeebap is a play on words - Bap means rice in Korean.]

"Welcome, you looking for my boss?"

"Yes please, quick.." I said and she led me to the table nearest to the kitchen.

After a minute, a petite woman came to the table wearing her chef uniform with the name tag 'Kang SeolHa' sat down opposite me. "Yes? What's the problem this time?"
