I rolled my eyes once again as soon as I heard that shrieking laughter coming from Jin DaYeong as she laughs at me once again, I seriously can't believe that she could laugh that much at just one thing and it is like hours ago.

"Sorry, but can you get lost for a second??" She said while laughing. "I can't stop laughing when I see your face."

I stared at the long queue that we are in, we are queueing to pay for our groceries right now and it is impossible for me to get out of the queue at this time. There are only 2 more people before we get to pay and she is telling me to get lost?? What nonsense is this??

"Are you for real?? We will be paying soon and you are telling me to get lost, you are then the one that has to get lost."

She placed her hand on my arm. "Please. It's okay, it is just funny that you looked so serious just now. She and I are really friends, we do this a lot with each other."

My ears turned red. "At least tell me beforehand next time, I wouldn't know if you didn't tell me."

"Fine, I will." She stood straight, finally breaking away from that laughing phase where she is just laughing and laughing.

What is there to even laugh about?? I was just trying to protect her from others and she is taking advantage of my kindness. If I knew that she would be like this, I wouldn't show that side to her.

We paid for the stuff and got out of the supermarket real quick, I carried all the heavy stuff and she was just carrying the snacks that she wanted to eat later on. She told me that she doesn't have a privilege to eat junk food at home as her father would nag at her for eating too much junk food so she is using this time to eat to her heart's content while her parents are away for the weekend.

"Don't you try to eat my snacks, I warn you. I swear that I will kill you if you do that."

"I swear that I won't. I have my own ways of getting it." I said deliberately getting close to her for a moment and she backed away from me but she tripped a little, falling backward. My quick reflexes reacted to it and I held her waist, preventing her from falling.
I swear that time literally stopped and I was staring into her beautiful eyes behind those round glasses of hers, she would look better without them but she is unique because of them. Most girls would abandon their glasses once they start using contact lenses but Jin DaYeong, I have never seen her not wearing glasses.

Glasses have been a part of her life as shown in the photos that she has in her house and she has never gone without them. She is truly one unique girl.

The longer I stare into her beautiful eyes, the more that I want to get closer to her, closer to her lips. I want to kiss her right now. How I wished--

A hand pushed me out of the way, she ran away as fast as she can. "Ah!! Byuntae!!"

I just stood there, dumbfounded by my actions. What the hell did I just try to do??

Did I just try to kiss someone that I totally not like??

I ran all the way to my room leaving the job of locking up the house to Kim MinGyu who has the house keys, he has been given permission to own the spare keys of the house of the Jin family that my father gave it to him personally in case we don't go home together and he can get into the house without me opening the door for him.

Unnie was right, getting too close to him is too dangerous for me to handle. But she is not around to ensure that he wouldn't do anything to me, I am basically waiting for him to do whatever he wants to me.

I heard a knock on the door and I sat up, it was Kim MinGyu for sure. There can't be anyone else other than him, he has been the only one in the house all along.

"Can you come out for a moment?? I have to say something to you??"

"Say what to me??" I answered him still feeling doubtful. What if he pushes me into the room once I open it??

"I have to apologize for what I tried to do to you." He said and I could literally feel the guiltiness in his voice. "I mean it."

"I'm sorry that I... I... You know tried to kiss you. I admit that it is my mistake but I felt the urge to do it... Because..."

The feeling of wanting to punch him in the face subdued the longer I listened to him explain of his mistake that seems really tiny and trivial. Boys his age have raging hormones and having only girls increases it. My brother was like that, he kept hanging out with women in his teens to the first few years of his adulthood until he settled down with someone that he would love for life, before that he is exactly like Kim MinGyu.

"So basically I shouldn't have gotten close in the first place if I have known that I would do that."

I just let him rattle on and on about his mistake at the door while I took this time to eat all the snacks and listen to him apologize. I opened the door a while later as I was bored and half of my snacks are still with him, his hand is leaning against the door and his hand slipped, he leaned forward and the inevitable thing happened.

We kissed for real. This time.
