We're women. We don't say what we want, but we reserve the right to be pissed off if we don't get it.

He put his items down on his bed as soon as he got in. The first week of that school year has just ended. It would be a weekend and it would be a good time for everyone to relax. Only that it wouldn't be his case. It was toxic yet liberating for Greg to finally get the chance to practice with his new team for collegiate basketball and play for the university. He needed to take a year off from the games when he moved to his new university, retaining his same course of Political Science.

Moon went to college two years earlier than he did. She took up Psychology as her pre-med course and as soon as she graduated, she took the entrance examination for doctors and luckily, she passed. She then enrolled for her Medicine course and shortly, she was on her way to becoming one.

He took a seat and turned on his flat screen. He might get that turned as ceiling mounted so he can rest. Moon is on her own unit, possibly studying, when he heard a knock on his door. He stood up and saw who he was expecting. She was holding a Pyrex tray with broiled chicken and sweet potatoes on it which made his stomach rumble. He pulled the door wide open for her and she jumped in with a huge smile as she put it on his dining area.

Moon does it once a week for him. Busy or not, she would always allot a time every Friday wherein she would prepare something for dinner for the two of them that they will share. She took the plates from the cupboard and fixed their table arrangement.

"No rice though," she said. "You gotta bear with me with my diet. No rice diet."

"I need carbs," he said while getting some fruits and drinks from his fridge.

"I have sweet potatoes," she told him and settled on her seat as soon as it was ready. "We have to go home tomorrow. It's Trina's birthday and we don't have any right to miss it."

"Of course. I'll be there but I have to attend our practice and it might end up as late as 5 PM," he answered.

"No problem. I can just wait for you," she answered.

"Are you sure?"

"Of course," she answered. They consumed the food that she prepared and had some left overs. She took care of putting it on a separate tupperware and kept it inside his fridge while he cleaned the plates. She went back to her own shortly after a few minutes of chatting.

She was still gathering her things the following morning when Greg came knocking her door. It is their ritual for him to send her to her university when he has time to do so without being late for his class. In this case, his practice. Moon quickly took her bag with her and came rushing to the door, hair still dripping wet.

"Why do you look like that?" he asked as soon as he saw her. "You haven't even brushed your hair."

"Sorry," she said with a straight smile. "I woke up late and I slept late last night. I'll just fix myself in your car."

The two went down after making sure that all the doors have been locked. Moon started fixing herself as Greg drove the way going to her university. When she got to their gate, she immediately kissed him goodbye and ran out of his car while waving. She was not looking on her way while struggling to carry her books, bag, phone, and hairbrush. She quickly looked at her watch and realized that she has five minutes left to get to their room.

She was running to get to their class when she hit something really hard like a wall. She almost stumbled but dropped all of her items on the floor. Her mirror flew out of her bag and got broken into pieces, her little papers and index cards went scattered all over, and her pens flew on all directions.
