Waking Up: Epilogue

I opened my eyes to find myself in some sort of chamber, it was filled to the brim with rainbow clouds. I looked at form, I was wearing a dress that covered my feet and my hair was multicolored and reached to about my lower back. I sat down in my strange room. Staring up at the distant sky. I did this for a few minutes until the whole room including myself started to glow, blinding my sight as my new world slipped away.

I found myself in a big room with many different colored people . I turned around to see four tall women

I stared up at them, there was a yellow, blue, white and pink one. All towered over myself, except for the little pink, she remained a slight inch taller than myself.  "My diamonds!" I saluted as I bowed slightly before the magestic matriarchs. "Hello, Moonstone, you are at the depths of homeworld, the birthplace of all gems" the pink diamond said softly as she sent a small smirk my way. I felt my forehead and felt a small gem in the middle. I looked up at my creators and smiled. "What do you wish of me, my diamonds?" I asked. "you help us rule" the blue diamond said. "If that is what you command" I said, my voice showing a hint of excitement.

*5 years later*

I finished off the last of my reports and decided to go spend time with pink since I was stationed with her for her first trip to earth, her first colony. I looked out a window and saw a green planet with a blue ocean and white clouds, very few planets appeared like this, most needed terraforming by the lapis. I felt a pang of curiosity fill my gem as I desperately wanted to explore the special planet but I knew pink diamond would never let me.

I respected her decision and left the question at that. I looked out another window and saw the surface of the planet's moon. The moon we were stationed on to watch over Earth. I walked up a few steps and I saw pink clicking away on her diamond control panel.

I walked over and she quickly noticed me and turning in her chair to meet my gaze with a warm smile as her Pearl stood silently, without a word. "Hello rainbow. How are you doing?" she asked. "Wonderful, my diamond. How are you?" I asked. "not very well, all these reports and news about the 'Crystal gems' are really starting to...annoy me" she said.
I bump her arm lightly with my elbow, offering her a small smirk. "Don't worry, pink.  I'm sure it will be over soon" I reassured her. "Thanks rainbow, you always know how to make me feel better even during the worst days." I smiled. I turned on my heel and started to return to my station but suddenly,  pink called me back for a moment. "Rainbow, I have a question to ask of you" I nodded and walked over to her. "yes, my diamond?" "I know it frowned upon in homeworld but would...... You...... Fuse with me? " I stepped back in shock.

My eyes widened as my mouth fell agape. "B-but...pink i-it's forbidden-" I felt her hands clasp my own as our eyes wet in a soft glare. "As you wish, pink"

I made sure no gems were watching I waved my hand to signal that the coast was clear. We did our little dance, finding it hard to match our styles, pink was eratic while I was smooth and calm but eventually we found a balance and fused. There and now stood rainbow diamond

I smiled and laughed at myself. I jumped out onto the surface of the moon. I danced to myself. Letting my rainbow hair flow around me. I did this until I saw them the crystal gems running towards me. I stopped dead in my tracks and so did they when the saw me. I was very tall but they still held the advantage with numbers, pink may be a diamond but i- I had no knowledge of combat, only managing to hold the back by lashing out with my powers.

"Pink diamond, this colony won't be completed!"

"Who are you supposed to be?!" I shouted.

All of the rebels stared at me with fury. "We are the crystal gems and we will fight for this planet!" They all shouted, raising their weapons in fury.

I took out my weapon and began to attack them until a fusion came running up with her fists drawn, an angry glare on her face. I knew that someone here was going to die but that will not be pink. I looked up to see the other three diamond ships approaching.

Only one thought was going through my head. I love all of you, pink, blue, yellow and white but I can't let you die I unfused and threw pink behind a barrier that the peridots, once they noticed the violence, began constructing I hopes of protecting their diamonds. I turned to see the other three diamonds helping pink up. I gave them one last smile before I felt the fusion's weapons crush my form. The last thing I saw was the fiamonds screaming and trying to get to me but the barrier kept them in. Then I poofed
