3: First day at school

It has been about a year since Jimin and Yoongi became friends.

Jimin... now a four year old kid will be starting school with Yoongi, who is now seven years old.

"The age gap is starting to seem strange..." Rion said, watching the two boys play tag.

"I don't think it's that weird." Heera chuckled, "They're only three years apart. Plus, isn't Jimin too young to start school?"

"The school is letting me put him in kindergarten early. He starts tomorrow."

"Yoongi starts second grade tomorrow." Heera said, "We should get going so Yoongi can go to bed early, see you next time." She stood up, "Come on, Yoongs."

Yoongi stopped chasing after Jimin and pouted, "Alright, at least I'll get to see Namjoon and Jin tomorrow at school."

"You'll see me too!" Jimin exclaimed.

Yoongi nodded, "Yeah, I will."

Jimin was standing at the front gate, looking at all the other kids.

"Appa, do I have to go? Can't I just stay at home?" He looked up to his dad and asked.

"Yes, you need to go and get a good education." He patted his son's head and bought him in.

"Jimin!" Yoongi ran up to him along with Namjoon and Jin.

"Look, you're friends are here and you can make new ones." His dad said.

Jimin nodded, "Thanks Appa, you can go now."

"I have to drop you off at your class." He picked Jimin up and brought him to a class full of five year olds.

"I'm scared..."

"Don't be. It's fun." Yoongi said, "We'll see you at lunch." He waved and left with the other two.

Jimin got out of his father's arm and sat in an empty chair.

Another boy sat next to him and smiled, "Hi! My name is Kim Taehyung! I'm only four years old."

Jimin smiled, looking at him, "I'm Park Jimin... and me too..."

Later that day, Kindergarten, first, and second grade had recess together.

Jimin chased Taehyung around the playground until Yoongi had accidentally tripped him.

"Ow!" Jimin shouted, "Why did you do that?!"

"I didn't mean to." Yoongi shrugged, glaring at Taehyung.

"Sure you didn't. I'm mad at you, don't talk to me!" Jimin ran off.

"What happened to your knees?" Taehyung asked, looking at Jimin's scraped knees.

"Yoongi tripped me. He's such a bully." Jimin pouted and crossed his arms.

"I'll fight him!"

"No! Don't! He's nice!"

"You just said he's a bully..."

Jimin laughed and smiled, "Yeah... but he's actually really nice. He's my favorite friend."
