Von's POV

I turned around ready to Off somebody but just turned around to see Terell. I sighed and just motioned him to follow me inside. I didn't really feel like talking, I just wanted to get high. He followed me inside and I dropped the keys off on the dining table and told him meet me in The in Home ball court I had in the basement. Since I didn't take Aniya to prom I might as well let them come pick up the car early. They said they'll be around in about An Hour time so I decided to get high wit Terell ass before they got here. I went upstairs to my room to change Out This suit and threw on my Nike t shirt with some ball shorts. I walked in the court to see him shooting around and we played a quick 21 game. Of course Terell Wack ass lost but it did help my mood a bit. I Had To Get Back into playing basketball. Basketball was my first love and I don't even know why I stopped. We finished up the game and sat on the side so Terell could roll it up. He said he had some new shit for me so I was trynna see wassup wit it.

He finished rolling my blunt and passed it to me. We each had a blunt Cus I Ain't Trynna Have Nobody count how many pulls I'm taking them Say pass it back, Nah, I like having my own shit. I lit the blunt and took a long pull before deeply inhaling and letting it out. I took a few more and noticed this was some good shit. My high hit me soon enough, felt like somebody punched me into a set of clouds. I decided not to finish it Cus I was high as hell and I wasn't Trynna Be too high when they came to pick up the car but I definitely was high enough. I got up and wiped my basketball shorts and turned to Tell Terell let's get something to eat but his ass was knocked out. I just laughed and decided to leave his ass there till he woke up. I started watching Martin until I fell asleep in the couch.

I Woke Up An Hour Later to the doorbell ringing nonstop. I remembered the car rental people told me they'll be coming so I Went To get the car keys so I could just give it to him at the door instead of going back and forth. I opened the door rubbing my face holding out the keys.

"Here you go man, my Bad I was slee.." I was saying until I felt somebody slap the keys out of my hand and push me back all in one motion. I opened my eyes to see Aniya there with a look I've never seen before. Her face was soaked in anger and bloodshot red eyes. "What the fuck is good wit you? Coming in here Mad for nothing," I said sucking my teeth and turning to go back into the main area. "I'm Mad for nothing Devonté?! Really?" She Said sounding calm. "Yeah! How you mad Cus you had another date so I left? What type of shit You On Ma?" I said.

"First of all I didn't have another date! I didn't wanna go with him but he kept asking and I didn't wanna go by myself when the rest of my girls had dates so I just agreed. All we were gonna do was.."

"ALL YOU WERE GONNA DO WAS NOTHING! YOU FUCK WIT ME ANIYA! WHY YOU COULDN'T JUST ASK ME?! YOU KNOW I WOULD'VE SAID YES WITHOUT A DOUBT! HAVE I EVER SAID NO TO YOU ?!" I yelled Getting mad all over again.

"No but I didn't wanna bother you! You said you had something to do so I didn't even bother to ask you," she said.

"Yeah! I Did have something to do! Your prom! I used that as an excuse so you wouldn't ask me and so I could surprise you at your prom!" I told her. She looked at me with regret in her eyes and looked like she was about to cry.

"I didn't know Devonté. I Thought You didn't wanna go with me so I just didn't ask. I didn't even wanna go with him, I just wanted to take a couple pictures with him then he Go his way and I go mine Devonté," she said sounding regretful. "I'm sorry Devonté," she said crying hard on. I felt bad Cus I knew she didn't know and I know she wouldn't do it purposely. I sighed and started walking back to her until she looked up and looked into my eyes, "Who's Kim Devonté?" She said. I stopped in my tracks. She said it Like she knew the answer and was just trying to see if I would lie or not and I knew I was in some shit. "This girl, why?" I said walking closer. She squinted her eyes at me and picked up the lamp I had on the little table and threw it at me. Luckily I ducked it in time but the edge of the bottom still managed to cut me right above my eyebrow. "Yo what the fuck Aniya!" I said touching above my eyebrow to see I was bleeding. "So You just gonna sit up in my face and lie and say some girl like you ain't do nothing with the bitch?!" She said taking a seat and laughing. Yo, she's Deadass crazy, I Thought to myself. "You Know I was in the bathroom at prom and overheard some girls talking about you. About how You and one of their cousin named Kim said ya fucking wit each other and how ya were together a week or two ago," she said crossing her legs. I knew it was gonna get wild Cus she was too calm for her to have heard some shit Like That, then I noticed she was still in her prom dress. Damn, I messed up her prom, I thought to myself shaking my head. "Listen Aniya, let me explain," I said trying to walk towards her. In one swift motion she jumped up from the couch and ran to me swinging at me like crazy. She hit hard as fuck and I was trying not to hit her but she was straight punching me all in my face till I felt her being pulled off of me before I Could grab her up Myself. I looked up to see her kicking and trying to get out of Terell's hold. I even forgot he was here.

"Let me Go! Who the fuck are you?! Don't touch me!" She Said yelling and crying still trying to get out of his grasp. I knew how she got when she was mad and I ain't want no nigga holding my Shorty from behind so I told him to let her go and dip. He let her go and started to run out past me and as soon as she was out of his hold she tried to run up on him. I Wanted To laugh so bad at her little ass and his big ass Trynna run but I knew this wasn't the time so I swiftly grabbed her tightly, locking her into my Hold. "GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME DEVONTÉ!" She Said yelling but I just kept my hold on her whispering shh in her ear and running my hands through her hair. I felt her lose her stance and she almost dropped down to the floor till I held her up. "Why Devonté? Why would you do this to me after asking me for a chance?! I Told You I didn't wanna go through anything again and that's exactly what you're doing to me," she said through sobs crying into my shirt. My heart sunk and I felt guilt all over. I didn't mean to hurt her but I was drunk beyond measure and Kim took advantage. I made a mental note to snatch Kim up for lying to her cousin like we were Something when she knew damn well we weren't. "I didn't mean to Aniya, I was drunk as hell and she just did it and I was too gone to stop her. Aniya I told you I would never hurt you on purpose," I whispered in her ear. She started beating on my chest until I pulled her away to look at her face. Her makeup was smeared and I could see the tear streaks on her face. I Had To deal wit Kim for having my baby girl out here looking and feeling like this. Snake ass bitch.

"Just let me go," she said prying my hands off of her.

"Where you Going?" I Asked as she walked around picking up her bag and Phone.

"I'm leaving Devonté. I Can't Do this, you can have her," she said opening the door. Hearing her say those words really set something off in me.

"You Not going nowhere!" I said slamming the door startling her. "Devonté please don't make this hard just let me go please. I Have a Headache, one of the biggest nights of my life are ruined, I tore my dress running after Your friend, I'm done For Tonight Devonté. Please," she Said with sorrow filled eyes. "Can I at least Drop you Home?" I asked. "I'm Fine. I Just Wanna Leave," she said. I motioned towards the door. As much as I didn't wanna let her go I know I can't keep her here against her will, so Ima just let her go home for now but Ima definitely get her back, and Kim gonna get dealt wit for lying like that. I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard The Door slam and saw Aniya getting into a taxi.
