The summer breeze brushed past my sundress as I walk the board walk. I didn't understand where I was heading in life. So confused on what I was supposed to do. Everyone expected me to follow the family tradition and become this big shot lawyer. But me, I didn't want to be a lawyer. Honestly I just wanted to travel the world. See these unknown places, conquer them and move on to the next destination . You know, show everyone that there's this little thing called the WORLD out there. I wanted to have these adventures and branch myself into different cultures. Not everyone has to do as their told but where you can be free and see what may lie in your path.
"Judy we must go or we will miss our flight." Lucy said. "I'm coming down now." She yelled. Judy hopped in the car and looked at her best friend. She smiled and said, "Let's go. we must get going. We don't want to miss the trip we have been planning forever right." Lucy said with a smile.
They parked the car in the airport and ran to their gate. Judy looked around and just smiled, she knew she was doing something good for once in life. It might had been something her family disapproved but she didn't care because she was finally going do something for herself. The plane started up, fast in their seats ready to leave. {Judy thinking} I know if I would look back now I would want to get off this plane and just finish my studies but then where would I be from now on in life, a busy lawyer with no love to look forward to or any amazing nights out. I won't look back and I will follow my heart. I will adventure on. I can't believe I'm actually going to explore this beautiful place.
The plane took off and about a few hours have gone by with only a little left until we land. An announcement was faintly heard over the loud speaker as someone near by said there will be a storm that we will be approaching. I looked at Lucy with worry. She grabbed my hand and nodded knowing I needed that reassurance. Flying right into the storm there was a bit of turbulence but nothing serious, until something hit the plane. I looked a Lucy and closed my eyes in fear. Only to open them a few minutes after just to see that the plane had crashed.
I unbuckled my seat belt and looked in fear as I screamed out for Lucy. But there was no answer. What have I done.
