♕✿~♕✿~Chapter 4//: I need to ask you to do something♕✿~♕✿~

Madison's POV

"Okay, you can turn around now."

Damon peers over his shoulder, checking one last time that it's safe, before fully spinning his body to face me. I was now dressed in the clothes Lucas had brought me. I may be wary of Lucas, but I definitely wasn't going to be stupid and pass up the opportunity to get rid of my ruined dress that was falling apart.

I sit down in front of Damon, the bars being the only things separating us. "So, what's the plan?" I ask Damon, referring to our escape plan.

Damon pursed his lips before looking at me. "You might not like the sound of this..." he starts.

I groan. "Just get it over with," I urge him.

"We need someone inside the Rogue Dawn to help us."

I stare blankly at Damon for a couple of seconds before scoffing. "Yeah, that'll work out. 'Hey, we need some help escaping. Mind being a part of this plan and helping your own prisoners escape?'" I scoff again at the ridiculousness.

Damon glares at me, annoyed. "We aren't going to ask like that, obviously. But whether you like the idea or not, we have to get some inside help. Otherwise, we aren't getting out of here."

I cross my arms over my chest. "Is this how you tried to escape last time?" I ask him. Damon's eyes darken a bit before he shakes his head no. "That was one of the mistakes I made, and I'm not going to make the same mistake twice," he tells me.

One of the mistakes. I catch his wording, and I can't help but wonder what other mistakes he made when he tried to escape the first time. But by the tone of the voice in which he used to answer, I knew better than to ask.

"Alright, well who are we exactly going to ask?" I ask with skepticism. Did Damon really expect to find someone to help us escape? I still had my doubts.

Damon looks at me in slight incredulity. "Isn't it obvious?" I scowl a bit at this. "We can ask your friend who seems so eager to earn back your trust."

My face slackens. Lucas? Damon meant to ask Lucas to help us escape? I can't help but shake my head, scoffing. "You can't be serious. Lucas' alliance stands with the Rogue Dawn. He betrayed me and the royal family. He was the one who got the queen and king killed, and me kidnapped!" I exclaim, trying to show Damon that it's really a terrible idea to turn to Lucas for help.

Damon's gaze on me hardens. "You don't know that. Isn't your friend Silver?" I nod at this, a bit confused as to what his blood color had to do with any of this. "Do you really think any Silvers part of the Rogue Dawn are really loyal to this group? A rebel group that wants the death and torture of Silvers?"

Now that Damon said this out loud, I realize just how weird it is for Silvers to be loyal to a group with an intent like that. And now that I think back to it, would Lucas be the type of person to enjoy killing others, especially people of his own blood? The answer immediately came to me. No, no he wouldn't. So why was he here anyways, as a part of the Rogue Dawn?

"Why the hell are there Silvers part of the Rogue Dawn, then?" I ask Damon. It didn't make any sense.

Damon looks at me straight in the eye. "It's really easy to control people when you have something over them, Madison."

I stay silent as his words sink in. Blackmail. Damon was saying that Nathan had a lot of things over a lot of Silvers. And when he had those informations over the Silvers, he could control them like a puppet master would control its puppets.
