***SKY***

It was nice being around my older brother again. I know it had to be tough for him to have to completely adjust to my lack of hearing, but it was nice seeing him put in the effort. Jordan was also a huge support also, by learning and going the extra mile to try and hold conversations with me. We've become really close in that sense of another brother, not in the relationship sense.

Hey Sky! How are you doing this morning? Jordan signed more fluid then the last time.

I smiled and clapped signaling I understood him. His face lit up and he did a little winner dance which consisted of him spinning in a circle and pumping his fists in the air. I laughed as I watched him, then a very groggy and confused Oli walked in.

He looked from Jordan to me and raised an eyebrow. Jordan turned toward him and he told him what I assumed was his successful signing because Oli smiled at me and gave me two thumbs up.

I smiled back and got up to walk towards the bunks. I knocked 3 times and walked to the back to lay in my designated bunk. I spent a lot of time writing about my thoughts or random daydreams I had. Writing was a way to cope with my deafness and my new surroundings.

The rest of the band was also attempting to get used to having a deaf girl on the bus, but most of them were supportive and sweet. Lee was still apprehensive around me because he thought I was too much of a responsibility for the guys to handle. He wasn't rude towards me, just distant. I didn't mind too much because I was also trying to get used to being around people who are famous and related to me.

Oli peeked his head into my bunk and smiled. I smiled back and he held up a notepad that said FOOD? on it.

Oli was struggling with signing only because a) he had a short attention span and b) he was a little lazy. Just a little tho. He knew basic stuff like how are you, my name is Oli, and I love you.

I nodded and he motioned for me to follow him. I climbed out of my bunk and followed him to the living pod. Lee, Matt, Nicholls, and Jordan were standing there talking about something funny because Matt and Lee were red in the face and Jordan looked ashamed.

Oli went over there and they talked about something and all of them nodded. He looked at me and nodded his head to signal for me to walk to him. I walked and stodd next to him as Matt smiled at me and Nicholls waved. Lee watched me and nodded his head, acknowledging my existence while Jordan came and stood by me.

Where do you want to eat, Sky? Matt signed and I was shocked. To be completely honest, I haven't talked to either of the Matts because I was nervous around people and also because I didn't want them to be apprehensive toward me.

Where can we go? I asked him and he turned towards the guys, probably to tell them what I asked. They all said something then Matt turned toward me again.

There are burgers, tacos, pasta, or pizza. I stood there contemplating what I wanted. Burgers sounded good but when Oli showed me the PETA videos, meat became unappealing. I like pasta, but I didn't want any right now.

Tacos sound good. As long as there are vegetarian options, I'm down. Matt smiled and told the guys what I said and Oli grinned and hugged me. I hadn't told him about me trying the vegetarian lifestyle but now he knows and he seems really happy about it.

We're going to be at the restaurant in 30 minutes so you can go get ready. I nodded and went to the bunks, knocking 3 times. I put on an Issues pullover with some dark high-waisted jeans and black low top vans. I put my hair in a messy bun and went toward the living pod, knocking twice and sitting on the love seat, playing on my phone.

***LEE***

I sighed and put my head in my hands. I'm not against anyone reuniting with there family, but this is a lot for all of us to take on. A deaf teenage girl is as much to handle as a toddler.

Oli came in the back and sat by me.

"What's up, mate?" He looked at me and rested his hand on my back.

"I love that you have your sister back, but isn't this a lot to handle for all of us? I don't think you understood how this affected all of us," I sighed and looked at the wall. I felt Oli tense up and sigh also.

"Lee, yes it is a lot to handle, but she is my sister and I need her. She needs me too, and I'm prepared to take on this challenge for her sake and mine," He said and I nodded. I guess I was being selfish and really worrying about how it would affect me but now I understood his point of view.

"I'm sorry, mate. I was being selfish and not seeing your point of view," I said and he nodded.

"Its okay, I didn't mean to make you guys worry," He smiled and I smiled too.
