Thomas sighed, looking down at the half asleep male in his lap. Alexander had his arms wrapped around his waist loosely, and had his head on his chest.
Alexander looked up suddenly. "I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"Being a dick."
"Hamilton, we've both been dicks to each other. I'm sorry too." Thomas sighed. Alexander shifted in his lap, facing him. Thomas rose an eyebrow slightly.
"You are actually okay... Guess Laf was right..." Alexander mumbled in thought. Thomas snorted.
"Laf says a lot of things," he pointed out, and Alexander giggled and nodded.
"Hmm....." The small male mumbled, laying back against Thomas. Thomas leaned against the couch, holding onto him. It seemed like Alexander had fallen asleep, before he spoke up softly. "Hey. Can I try something?" He asked, almost hesitantly.
Thomas tilted his head curiously. "Sure?" He blinked. Alexander straightened up, placing his hands on Thomas' shoulders. Alexander blushed before he leaned against Thomas, softly pressing his lips to the taller male's. Thomas widened his eyes slightly, feeling his face flare. before kissed Alexander back slowly.
Alexander broke away after a few seconds, his face red. "S-sorry I just-"
Thomas shook his head slightly. "It's... Okay..." He said slowly, still in disbelief. Sure, they had kissed at that party. But that was different. That was a drunk kiss. Wait, so why did he kiss me now?
Alexander puffed his cheeks out in embarrassment. "Just, forget it happened. I don't even know why I did it..." He looked down at the ground, blushing. Well that's a lie and you know it. God, you're an idiot. How the hell did you fall for him? Alexander shook the thought away.
Thomas started to say something, before laughter was heard. "Mon ami, you're so red!" Lafayette exclaimed, standing next to Hercules.
"Definitely seems like hate," he said, smirking. Alexander widened his eyes, blushing even darker and pushed off of Thomas.
"It's not like-" he protested, only to be cut off by the two's laughter.
He huffed in embarrassment, glaring at the ground.****
Let it go. Words that John had always heard people tell Alexander. The same words even he would tell the male if he was being ridiculous.
Maybe he should take the advice this time.
Because sitting in the Schuyler living room, waiting for Peggy to come downstairs, was tense and unbearable. He knew Angelica was home.
If she knew he was here he was a dead man.
John bit his lip, playing with a loose curl, jumping when he heard someone walk downstairs. He jumped up, whirling around.
Only Peggy.
He sighed softly, and started towards the door. Peggy frowned, walking after him. "Hey, John? You're moving pretty fast," the youngest Schuyler yelped.
"I have to get out of here," John mumbled under his breath.
"John, what's wrong?"
"We gotta go tell Maria something,"
"Hey! Come on, you're kinda freaking me out here!" Peggy grabbed his sleeve, stopping him. He winced.
"Sorry. Look, I promise. I'll tell you when we see Maria but we have to go now."
Peggy sighed but knew from the panic in his voice that it could very well be because of what had been going on. She nodded, and began to run to Maria's house with him.***
Maria groaned when someone repeatedly knocked on her door. She started towards the door before she stopped, hearing James. "Who the fuck is here?!" He yelled.
She flinched. "I'm checking!" She called back, rushing to the door. She opened it, seeing a panicked John and a worried Peggy. She glanced between them and the door, and stepped outside. She shut the door, before turning to John.
"What happened?" She asked gently.
He breathed raggedly, and Maria flinched, knowing he was on the verge of a panic attack. "A-Angelica- her f-fault-" he stammered, before he began to sway. Maria caught him as he started to fall unconscious.
"Angelica what?" Peggy frowned. "What did my sister do?"
"He said 'her fault...' Do you think-" Maria widened her eyes, meeting Peggy's gaze.
"No way! She wouldn't do this..." Peggy exclaimed, before growing hesitant. "Why would she threaten John?"
"I dont know. But we need to go to Alexander," Maria said, lifting John up, carrying him to her car while Peggy rushed after her.***
Theodosia frowned, walking beside Sally. "So wait... Angelica has a crush on Alex, right?"
Sally nodded, not really paying attention. "Yep."
Theodosia grabbed her arm, stopping. "I think I know what's going on," she said and spun around. Sally frowned, following after her.
"What's going on?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Angelica is threatening Alex and John so John stays away from him,"
Sally gave her an unsure look. "Are you sure? I know we accuse people on a lot of things but we can't just-"
"It's true. Sally, why is John never around Angelica? And why does Angelica get annoyed when we talk about him and say he'll be fine?" Theodosia didn't look back at her, continuing to walk.
Sally frowned, before realizing she was right. "Oh shit..." She mumbled. Theodosia nodded, grabbing her hand and beginning to run.***
Eliza opened the door to Angelica's room, tilting her head. "Angie? I'm going over to Laf's. Alex is there. Wanna come?" She asked, smiling brightly at her older sister.
Angelica cocked an eyebrow before smirking to herself. "Of course. Give me a few minutes, I'll be right down."
Eliza nodded, humming as she walked downstairs.
Angelica smirked, grabbing something from her desk drawer, placing it into her purse before making her way downstairs."Hmm Laurens... I think we'll start."
