Wiping my face with a tissue, I stood up. I am SO getting out of here. As I walked out the bathroom, some girls were giggling. "Hi Princess," one snickered. "I'm sorry tonight wasn't as favorable as you thought it would be," "Yeah," said the other one, uncooly. "I hate Princesses." it was Catee. I stared her in the eye. "Why'd you do it?" I asked. "Do what, baby cakes?" she batted her eyelashes all innocently and she laughed sarcastically. "You know," I said. "Oh, that." she said. "You stole Hunter."
"Hunter likes me,"
"Not anymore."
I stared at her again. I wanted to tell her how Hunter begged me to stay with him in the bathroom, but the words wouldn't come out. "I'm going home." I said. "You do that," Catee snorted while laughing with he other two girls. The first girl that talked high fived Catee. Catee beamed like she had just won an award.
I walked down the hallway while kids snickered and giggled behind my back. Hunter stared down at the floor when I passed by him. Catee watched my every move. Before I could officially get by him, he grabbed my hand. "Ariana, wait." he said. Catee glared. Hunter stared at me with those big blue eyes of his. "I just wanted you to know that-" "That she should get going, right Ari?" Catee interrupted. "Right," I said. "Bye Hunter," "Get away from me," he told Catee. "What you did was horrible... "But baby, wait!" Catee called desperately, running after him.
I rolled my eyes. I pushed the doors open, and walked away, never going to be a real someone again.
