I ran to the bathroom. I stood looking in the mirror, at my horribly red self. "Ariana?" a voice asked. A vaguely familiar voice.
A male voice.
"Go home, Hunter. I'm Princess of the Nothings, remember? Everyone hates the Princess of the Nothings," I said. "I don't. I think the Princess of the Nothings is hot."
OMIGOD, did he just call me HOT?
SQQUUUEEEEEEAAAAAALLLLLL!!!!!!!!! : D
(Silence) "Well, if you won't talk to me, I'm talking to you." he said. I saw Hunter step in the girls bathroom, completely unashamed. He looked at me. I looked at him. He grabbed a paper towel and cleaned my face off. Then he leaned in...
Right for a kiss!!
SSSSSSQQQQQQUUUUUEEEEEEEAAAAAALLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We sure did kiss for a LONG time. But that only made it better! SQUEAL!!
"I love you," he said. I looked down. I couldn't do this to Hunter. Make his life a living nightmare...
"No," I said. "Go home, Hunter. NOW." He looked at me, a shocked look on his face, probably hoping his perfectly perfect kiss would've changed my mind about him and me.
Me and him.
Us.
SQUUEEEAALLL!!
"But I thought..." he stammered. "The kiss, you like me right? You and me, me and you? US??!!" I looked at him sadly. "It's just not going to work, Hunter. Please, go home now." I said.
His eyes weren't the chirpy blue they were earlier. "Okay," he said sadly. He tucked my hair behind my ear, kissed my forehead, and left.
I looked in the mirror, wondering what I just did. Giving up Hunter just because I was the Princess of the Nothings.
For the first time in a while, I just hung my head, and cried.
