Deetranada's POV
Next Day
It was yet again another stressful day of school. Uggghhhhh. I got ready very quickly, surprisingly, and sat outside waiting on Tally to come pick me up.

Five minutes later a black car approached my driveway. It was very unfamiliar because tally's car was red.
I then saw a pineapple-shaped head pop out. I mentally rolled my eyes and went over to this duffus.

"What are you doing here Nova?"

"Damn Ma, not even good morning?" He said chuckling.

"Whatever, Morning Nova. Now answer my question!!"

"Damn, who pissed in your cereal?! Anyways Tally sent me to come pick you up."

"Why tho?"

"Because she ain't coming to school today, she has a dentist appointment "

"Oh-"

"Yow Nova hurry da hell up, I'm not tryna reach school late!!!!"
I was cut off my a familiar voice coming from the car.

"Who's that?" I asked Nova.

"Oh that's my bro Roscoe "

"You gotta be fcking lying bro... oh that's my best friends boyfriend " I said kinda hyped. It's been awhile since I saw him.

"You mean Flaujae? How do you know her?" He asked.

"Oh me and Flau go way back, she used to go to my school back in Bmore but she moved to Atlanta 5 years before me"

"Oh that's dope"

"Hey player what's taking you so- Holy shit bucket is that Deetranada?!" Roscoe said dramatically.

"What's good Roscoe " I said while laughing and hugging him.

"It's been a minute since I saw you "

"I know right bro. So do you go to the same school as us?"

"Yeah I do, Flaujae and I weren't there yesterday because it was our anniversary so we decided to skip school. That's why you didn't see us"

"Oh congrats punk"

"Ok ok. Y'all shut up and let's go before we are late for school" nova said.
"Whatever "

I hopped in the back with Roscoe and we started to catch up on things. He told me about Flau taking off her braces, how he and Flau relationship been going etc. It was really good talking to Roscoe, he was just as I remembered fun, serious, lit and just nice to be around.

NB: Roscoe and Flaujae is a grade below them....

We approached school and I sighed heavily. It was my first REAL day at this school and I was hella nervous. But it was a good thing that Nova and I have the same schedule, it will make my life less harder here at this school.

I got out of the car and waited on Nova, so that we can walk to class.

"What you waiting for punk?" He said snickering.

"I was waiting on you smartass" I shot back.

Nova and I walked to class in silence but it was a comfortable silence.
