The rain kept pouring down droplet by droplet, the dark night sky covered by smooth shadowy clouds. A human figure ran through the dark shadowy forest, it had a look of fear in its eyes. Lora fell on the cold wet filthy ground, covering her white gown in mud and dirt. She covered her dress with her cloak and continued to run. She ran as quick as she could until she felt a warm breath come down her neck. She stopped too afraid to move.
"I know you're there, come out and show yourself." Lora said with a slight stutter. A dark figure in the shape of a man appeared on the tree limb.
"Whatever you say my love.", the figure said as he jumped onto the ground. The man was older he was very tall and slender.
"You won't find them.", Lora scoffed as she started to turn away.
"As long as they are out of the picture I'm fine. My offer still stands my dear." The man says as he grabs Lora's arm and gives her a seductive look. Lora yanks her arm away and walks off.
"My answer still stands, no." Lora says as she continues off.
"Well then" the man groaned as he pulled out a dagger from his bag that glimmered in it's silver shine. He launched the knife toward Lora when it hits her right in the lower back. Lora fell down on her knees when all of her memories of her life flowed into her mind. One particular one flashed into her minds eye. She was in the valley with her three daughters, Her oldest Brigit laying on the grass next to her, her middle Elizabeth laying her head on her knee, and her youngest Melody sitting on her lap.
"Mother do you promise you will always be with us?" Melody asked half awake as she rubbed her eyes.
"I promise darling!" Lora answered as she pulled her daughters close.
Back to reality Lora slowly faded out of existence as these words came into her mind.
"I'm sorry darling.." Lora whispered as her vision slowly faded into black.
