Tyler and Olivia looked at each other awkwardly. Then they raised their gaze up to Lily.
"Nothing..." Olivia lied.
"Ok. I'm just gonna drop off my bag and head over to, uh, another room!" Lily said.Once Lily left, Olivia stood up and went to turn off the air con.
"It's cold," she said.
"Do you think she's hiding something?" Tyler suddenly asked.
"Who, Lily?" Olivia looked at him.
"Yeah. She didn't spend that much time with you like the first day," Tyler noticed.
"Well, she has new friends," Olivia pointed out.
Tyler sighed, "Never mind."
A wave of silence washes over them.
Tyler scratches his neck before saying, "Look... I want to ask you something... I know it's kinda quick but..." Tyler took a deep breath.
"You want me to be your girlfriend, right?" Olivia batted her eyelashes.
"Stop ruining the moment! But yes. Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Let me think about it..." Olivia pretended to think, "Hmm... no."
"No? You know how much courage you need to ask that ques-"
"I was just kidding!" Olivia laughed, "Of course I will!"
"Girls," Tyler muttered.
"What was that?" Olivia glared at him.
"Uh, nothing."
"But... you know that we're only staying here for five days, right?" Olivia said, sadly.
"Yeah... and it's nearly the end of day 2."
"But this day was better than yesterday."
"Why?" Tyler asked.
"Because... because I met you."
Tyler chuckled,"I just realized... we only met each other for a day and we're already girlfriend and boyfriend."
A smile touched Olivia lips as he said that.
