Chapter 4

On the other side of London, a young lady hastily searched her keys.
"Ahhh!! Where did I kept them ?!" She shouted.
She was looking under the blanket when she saw it was on her cat, Cheshire's bed.
  As she picked up the keys, her cat rubbed his face on her leg.
  "Aww Cheshire, I'm sorry but mommy has to go."
   Cheshire purred
"Cheshire....ok, let's see..- No! I have to go ! I can't do this to myself, I promised myself to get a job by this week. Sorry Chesh but I have to go." She said to both, him and her.
   "Okay so? Keys?checked, Outfit (A/N: ^ on top ^) on point? Checked, files? Checked. Let's gooo!!"
      She looked very excited for her first interview. She felt very nervous as she got closer to the office building, the feeling was killing her. She tried to smile but all those smile were hard to make. She checked the time and it was 9:50! Her interview was going to start at 10 am accurately.
     She reached the floor and walke- ran to the reception desk.
   "Excuse me, I have came for the interview.." she said smiling brightly while trying to hide her panting.
  "What's your name?" The lady asked with a stone hard face and an annoyed tone.
  "(Y/N) Surren."
"You can go now."
"Thanks."
            As she entered the room, she came to meet a man with bright green eyes and dyed hair. She read the name palate , it was written 'Vincent Douglas', 'nice name' she thought. He looked as if he was impatient about something.
    "May I come in?" She asked with her usual face.
    "Yes", Vincent spoke with a hint of ignorance in his eyes.
    "I came for my interview."
Vincent moved his face up to see a beautiful girl whose hair was (h/l) (h/c) and eyes who had the colour (e/c).
         Vincent instantly replied. "Please make yourself comfortable." He spoke.
     He didn't want to take any risks with his company anymore, so he began her interview.
   He waited impatiently for his secretary to come and tell him a news which will make him believe that she is the one.
      Suddenly there was a loud knock on the door which distracted both of them. (Y/N) was a little bit annoyed because of the sudden stop of her interview which also made her feel more nervous about not getting the job.
   "Come in." Vincent said with a straight face but inside he was dying out of curiosity.
                 Yang came in with bright smile  "Sir! The materials which got burned in the fire were defective. For the company's mistake we will be getting all those materials for free!" Yang told him with a joyful tone.
   Vincent was happy but he somehow he hid his happiness.
    "That's great Yang, you can leave now. I'm a bit busy with our new employee." Vincent looked at her and grinned.
  "But sir the inter-"
  "You're hired. You can join from tomorrow."
    "Really? Thank you so much."
     Victor felt himself smiling by the look of her smile. He knew that throughout the interview she was faking her smiles. He was falling in love with her well not actually her, he was falling in love with the thought that she will be the one to bring his luck, which will make him look proud in his father's eyes. It was more of a lust than love.

             He watched her as she left the room. He noticed everything about her but what mostly caught his eyes were those eyes. They were full of happiness.
    "Mr. Douglas why did you hired her without taking her full interview?" Yang asked with a curious mind. He was not a person who would take a person with no career history.
     "Yang, I know that she is a hardworking person."
        Vincent lied, that was not the actual answer. He wanted to have her under his sight all the time after all he didn't want his luck to get in wrong hands.
