The Meeting

Office:
All were sitting in the canteen except sanyukta. She had some work to be done so she told them she'll join then later.  It became their daily routine now to have lunch and spend break times together.

"So, when are you guys getting married?" Randhir asked Parth and vidushi suddenly raised the topic of marriage.
"Ya we still did plan anything yet. Why did you ask so suddenly? Are you getting married or what?" Parth said chuckling on his own comment and looked towards vidushi.
"Well yes I am" Randhir said.
"WHAT??" Both vidushi and Parth said in unison.
"What?" Sanyukta asked as she didn't have any clue.
"I don't believe this" vidushi said.
"You're not joking right?" Parth asked.
"Can anyone please tell me what's going on?" Sanyukta asked. Vidushi ddi not speak a word as she knew that sanyukta liked randhir.
"I'm going to get married" Randhir said looking at sanyukta. Sanyukta became numb. The image of Randhir going away from her was very bad. She felt really sad by the news. But, what could she do it's his life and she didn't even tell him that she likes him.
"Oh" she replied with a sad smile.  Vidushi felt bad for sanyukta.

Randhir told them how his aunt wanted him to get married. He also told him that he was going to go to meet the girl Sunday i.e tomorrow. After sometime they departed their ways.

"Sanyukta? You fine?" Vidushi asked sanyukta ,feeling really sad for her as she was faking smiles the whole time and was trying to concentrate in her work.
"I'm fine vidushi. Now, we can do nothing it's his life" sanyukta said looking at her worried friend.
"Okay then" vidushi said as she did not wanted to pull the matter more.

In the evening when sanyukta reached home her parents were waiting for her in the hall.

"Sanyukta you're home?" Her mother asked coming from the kitchen.

"Sanyu" her father called little loud this time as he also noticed that she was in deep thought. 

"Ha..haan" she turned towards them.

"What happened?" Anju asked.
"Nothing mom. Just tired" she said.

"Okay. we want to talk tot you about something important" her father said and she sat on the adjacent sofa. 

"About what dad?" she asked keeping her stuff aside."It's about your marriage" her mother replied. "What? Marriage? Firstly I want to do something more in my life dad" she was tired now hearing about this marriage topic. Either of them is not a good news.

 "Sanyukta, we understand. But, it can happen after your marriage also" her dad said. "Yes. Nobody is stopping you in achieving your goals. Listen sanyukta, everything should be done according to time and now it's time for you to get married because once the time is gone it's never going to comeback" her mother said calmly so that she understands. "If you don't like the guy then it's totally okay" her father said. "You will surely like him" her mother said smiling. "Why do you know him?" she asked. "I don't know him personally but he is everything you want and he is very famous also" her mother said. "But, the decision will be mine"sanyukta said. Her parents nodded their heads.

"Randhir are you ready?" his aunt asked him. "Yes maa, coming" he came down the stairs. "Let's go now" his uncle said. Randhir nodded and headed to his white BMW. They left for the girl's house.

In the car: 

"Okay tell us the surname of the girl at least" his uncle asked his aunt as she did not tell them anything about the girl,  except her being her aunt's friend's daughter. "Okay okay. It's Aggarwal" her aunt said and his uncle felt very familiar about the surname and when he looked towards randhir he saw him smirking.
