The engagement

"Okay" his uncle said knowing how angry randhir was. Randhir resumed his driving. "What are you doing now? Marrying his daughter?" his uncle asked totally confused. "You will get to know that soon" he said smirking.

 office:
"Today Randhir and sanyukta Both are coming after lunch. So I guess now only we both are left" vidushi said looking at Parth.
"It's good na baby. We'll get time to romance" he winked at her.
"Shut up" she said blushing.
"You have no chance today also" Randhir said coming towards them.
"Sorry parth" sanyukta said at the same time . They looked at each other.

"Was just waiting for you guys" he said sarcastically faking a smile. The other three laughed at once. "So, sanyukta why didn't you come in the morning?" vidushi asked her. Now, everybody was looking at her. "Actually she is also going to get married" randhir said. Vidushi was ttoally shocked hearing this. "How do you know?" parth asked. "He is the boss. he knows why his employees take leave. Btw who is the guy?" vidushi asked getting curious. "I am the guy" randhir said. 

"WHAT??" parth and vidushi said in unison. Vidushi looked towards sanyukta as if asking for confirmation. She nodded her head giggling looking at her friend's open mouth. "I'm so happy for you" vidushi literally jumped on sanyukta. "Congrats bro" parth said to randhir. 

"we are going to get engaged this weekend"randhir said which was a news for sanyukta also."Why so soon?" vidushi asked. "Her father requested" randhri replied. Why is dad rushing out things sanyukta thought. It's not that she was sad but she did not expect it to be so soon.

"How did this happen overnight?" vidushi asked when they were back to their cubicle. "His aunt's friend was my mother. I did not have the slightest idea that it was him" sanyukta said. "I will not tolerate it when someone gossips during office hours"  Randhir said. Both of them turned around to find randhir standing behind them with a file in his hand. "Sorry randhir" both said together. "I want you to verify this file and give it to me in half n hour" randhir said and handed over the file to sanyukta. She took it from him and he left.   

After half n hour, sanyutka is done verifying the file she goes to randhir's cabin. She knocks the door and randhir tells her to  come in. 

"Randhir, I verified the file and placed everything in order" she said. "Okay" he said not looking at her but keeping his full focus on the laptop screen. She kept the file on his table and started to walk out of his cabin. "Sanyukta" he called her she turned around. "Actually maa wants to meet you. She wants to take you to shopping" he said looking at her. "Okay" she said and they both exchanged a smile and she left. 

Sanyukta was happy about the marriage thing but she felt that things were rushing out and she neither got time to know about randhir nor what he actually felt about her. She was very curious to know why her father was getting her hitched so soon.

Next day snayukta took a full day leave as randhir's aunt told her that she wants her to take to shopping.  The wedding was also fixed, that is after 2 weeks. When sanyukta asked her father he told her that "Shubh kaam keliye deri nahi karni chahiye" and her mother was also okay with it. What shocked her is randhir was also okay with it. She did not know anybody's thoughts regarding this  marriage. She doesn't even know about the joint venture thing they have planned. She thought that she was overthinking. 

"Sanyukta how is this?" malini asked showing some lenhangas. "it's beautiful" she said looking at it. "But, I did not like it" someone said. They turned around to find randhir standing there. "When did you come?" his aunt asked him. "Just now"   he said and sat beside sanyukta. "Okay then you both only decide" she said looking exhausted. Randhri and sanyukta looked around and sanyukta found one maroon color lehanga in one corner. She went and stood before it admiring the lehanga. "This ones beautiful"she said. "I like it too" randhir whispered in her ear standing exactly behind her. Snayukta turned around and her breathe hitched finding him so close to her. Goosebumps erupted on her skin when he whispered in her ear. Sanyukta was just staring at him.  While he ordered the manager to pack that dress.
