|| I'm not Canadian and I don't really know what food Tim Hortons serves, so I'm sorry I'm advance. ||

After school, we went to Tim Hortons, ordering our usuals.

"Local Canadian blows up over night!" The guy on the tv said

"Isn't Justin Bieber already famous?" I asked, eating my pancakes

We look back on the TV and see a clip of Shawn in his green jacket with a guitar covering Justin Bieber's As Long As You Love Me.

"People have been commenting things like; 'do more covers!' 'beautiful voice!' 'this boy is gonna be famous' 'sing an original!' And so much more. Well I've got one comment. Mr. Shawn Mendes, you have just started your path to fame." The TV guy said.

I look back at Shawn with the biggest smile on my face.

"This calls for a celebration!" I said, lifting up my fork.

He wasn't moving. He looked scared, happy, & shocked.

"Shawn? You okay?" I asked him

He turned to me with the same mixed look.

"I only posted that cover for fun then I was gonna leave the app. I didn't think I'd become an overnight something." He said, sipping his water

"Overnight sensation." I said

"Why don't you post your original?" I asked

"It's too personal." He looked down

"Shawn, every song is personal. But music is supposed to help you be confident and letting those personal songs out. I mean you can't write a song that's not personal and just let it out there. It has no meaning." I said

"But, what if people don't like it?" He sighed.

"There are bound to be haters Shawn. You just need to know that there are people who support you and want you to continue. Like me." I smiled.

"Yeah, you're right." He said, lifting his hand up to call the waitress.

"Yes?" The waitress asked

"Can we have the bill please?" He smiled, politely.

"Of course." She nodded, then left.

"Y-"

"OH MY GOD!" Someone yelled

We looked back and saw two girls running towards us.

"YOU'RE SHAWN MENDES!" One of the girls screamed

"Indeed I am" Shawn grinned

"I'm Tracie and this is my friend Veronica." Tracie introduced

"We loved your cover of As Long As You Love Me" Veronica said, excitedly

"Could you post more covers? Or even an original?" Tracie asked

"Of course, of course. I will soon." He said.

"Would you like anything?" He asked

"Here's the bill, ma'am" the waitress said, giving me the folder.

Shawn was stood up and took a few photos with them and then bid them goodbye.

I put the money in the folder along with the tip and gave it to the waitress.

"C'mon, Shawn. Lets go." I said

He stood up and followed.

"Did you see that?" He asked

"No what? Was there a dog doing tricks?" I asked, looking around

"No, I mean in Tim's. They wanted MY picture. 'Me'!" He said, emphasizing 'me'

"Boy, you'll be getting a lot more. I can assure you that." I said.

"It's amazing! Wow." He stared at the sky

"Shawn?"

"Yeah?"

"If you ever go on tour or something, will you promise to never forget me? Also will you promise me that you would say goodbye before leaving?" I looked at him.

"Em. I would never forget you. Thats a promise. To both." He said putting his arm around my shoulder.

"Good." I smiled, as we walked to his place.
