Archies pov:

I walk up on stage holding veronicas hand looking through the crowd when I notice Betty leaving. Something happened to her. "I have to go" I say to Veronica. "Sure Archiekins maybe i'll see you later" she says winking at me. I smile at her and run off, run all the way to Bettys house. 

"Betty" I say as I enter her house. "Archie" she says while walking out of her sitting room. "I thought you were prom king" she says walking into her sitting room, with me following her. "I did, I am prom king but I saw you leave" I say standing beside her. "Oh its just Jughead" She says looking down. "Betty your too good for him" I say picking up her hand. "I'm not, I love him, he loves me" she says looking me in the eyes. "Betty he broke you heart once i'm not going to let him break you heart again" I say raising my tone. "Well I don't care at least I fell for someone who actually likes me this time" she says letting go of my hand. "I DIDN'T MEAN TO HURT YOU BETTY YOUR ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS I WOULD'T WANT TO HURT YOU" I say knowing she was talking about me. "WELL GO AHEAD REPLACE ME AS YOUR BEST FRIEND WITH VERONICA BECAUSE I KNOW YOUR FRIENDLY WITH HER" she says with tears forming in her eyes. "YOU COULD OF TOLD ME IT HURT YOU" I say realizing I hurt Betty again. "OF COURSE IT FUCKING HURT ARCHIE I KNEW YOU WERE CLUELESS BUT I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE THAT BAD, IT HURTS A LOT ARCHIE" she says. "WHY WOULD YOU EVEN CARE THAT HE BREAKS MY HEART BECAUSE WE DON'T EVEN TALK AS MUCH ANYMORE, IT WOULD BE EASIER IF I JUST STAYED WITH JUG AND GET OUT OF YOUR LIFE" she shouts at me. "BECAUSE YOUR MY BEST FRIEND AND I CARE ABOUT YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE, I DONT WANT HIM HURTING YOU EVER BECAUSE YOUR PERFECT" I say realizing what I just said. "I should just go" I say walking out of the room, but I feel something grabbing my arm. Betty pulls me around so that i'm facing her.

"Arch" she says looking at me in the eyes. "I'm sorry" I say looking down. She pulls my face up. "How about we watch a movie" she says smiling at me. "Like the old days" she adds. "Sure" I say smiling wiping the tears away from her eyes. "But I get to pick" she says with a slight giggle leaving the room with me following. Something about her makes me feel better she makes me feel happy and I know no one else would ever make me feel that way.

 sorry its such a short chapter but I don't want to rush Archie and betty together, please vote for this story and keep reading if you enjoy and comment because it inspires me to write, I already got so many nice comment and I want to thank you or that and I will always reply.
