Adrien x Marinette- A promise that I can't break

Adiren's POV

I am still trying to take all this in.. I mean.. meeting Marienette.. seeing her all grown up.. she looks cuter then before.. still a tsundere though.

I walked into my home after the ride and put my bag upstairs in my room. I put my bag in my desk and next to it was a black box, it wasn't there before so I guess it was from my mum and dad or something.. they usually don't do this for me so I was about to reach for it until I heard the door opening.

"Ah your home," my mum started, " how was your first day at school?" She asked pulling me into a quick hug.

"It was great mum! I saw Mari at school! She's in my classes!" I yelled in exitment I sound like my small self. My mum giggled at my childish ways.

"I am glad that you saw her," she smiled sweetly "Is she still bossy? Is she still taller that you?" She asked with a grin, and I smirked. I remembered the little, no huge promise we made when we were kids before I left.

"Yes, she is bossy.. but no.. she is not taller than me, but she is cute.." I said the last thing quietly so my mum couldn't here me, but judging by her smirk I guess she heard me.. ' god dam it. '

"L'aïe, ma petite chéri a un écrasement ! Si mignon !" She said with a smile, heat raised to my cheeks and I turned around. ( translation "Aww,  my little baby has a crush! So cute!")

"Anyways, get ready. Your little tsundere is coming over for tea in about.." she glanced over at her watch, "an hour, so move! You want to impress her right?" My mum smirked pushing my shoulder playfully.

"Mum, please.." I said with embarrassment, my face burning up feeling 159 degrees. As she walked out she giggled and started to talk in french about how adorable it was.

I was all ready, my room desent, still had a few childish things but oh well.. then I heard voices coming from down stairs I started to sweat as I heard someone coming upstairs suddenly opening my bedroom door. My mother walked in. I let out a sigh before she started talking.

" calm down kiddo, she's only outside this door.." she laughed,my eyes widened as I saw her walking a bit away from the door and I saw mari.. in a dress, a red one, I matched her so well.. I felt my jaw drop and my mum walked over to me closing my jaw saying, "I'll leave you two, no funny business okay?" I was about to say something until she closed the door on my leaving me and mari, we both blushed, not knowing what to do until dinner was ready.

We walked over to my little sofa and sat there silent, nothing was heard, it was defining. It was aukward for a while, we was not like this when we were kids, but that was the problem, we were kids, we didn't really care to much about 'feelings' or 'emotions'.. these types of things suck..

"So, how was you trip?" Mari changed the silence in the room.

"It was good I guess, alot of photo shoots and loads of friends-"

"Did you get a girlfriend?" She asked cutting me off, I could tell she was getting a bit jealous, so I planned of playing with her a bit.

"So what is I did?~ you jealous?~" this made her eyes light up with a mixture of feelings, hurt, anger, jealously and a bit of depression.

"No.." she said quietly "w-who is she?" I could tell she was hurt by her voice, wow was she really that jealous?..

"Mari.." I started "I was only joking, I told you, I would wait for you, and you only.. I could never do that to you.. you're too important to me.." she looked up was a smile.

"You goof," her expretion lightened up and she punched me in the arm playfully, she laughed and so did I.

"I really did miss you.." I said looking down, until she grabbed my chin making me look up.

" so did I silly boy.." she smiled.

There was a knock on my door and my dad called us down for dinner and we made our way down? And got a look from our parents as if to say something either bad, or good.. either way.. I didn't want to know.. it was our parents.. they probably thought of something stupid.. again..
