Chapter 5: Outlast

Jack pulled Dinah from her arm as they went to sector A-24. "Where are you taking me?"Dinah asked, "I'm taking you somewhere far away because you have been a very bad girl" said Jack as he un-cuffed her and locked her in his cell, "Believe me when I say that your mind is going to get blown to shreds tonight... HeHeHeHe" said Jack as he locked the cell's door and left off laughing in every step he took. She took a look at the cell and noticed the wall that was facing the cell's door to have an odd appearance. It had the numbers: 8 and 1 written all over it, and on the bed there was an alphabetical board with all of the 26 English letters. She start thinking about what this riddle meant and what was going to "blow her mind to shreds" but she was so interrupted by Jack speaking on a speaker inside of the cell.

"This isn't what you where expecting, Doc. But forgive me, I didn't have time to set something that's more of your style" said Jack. "Where are you going with this?" Dinah asked furiously, "Nothing hides forever, Dinah... that's something that you should know, Nothing hides forever... Now what's important is what you have in front of you, solve the puzzle and you'll get out of the cell and go home like this was all a bad dream. s-" said Jack as he was interrupted by Dinah "you're bluffing, you know that you're not gonna let me go. The police will come sooner or later and they'll rescue me",
"Ooooh, smart girl. No, you're right... I wouldn't do such a thing. So as I was saying before you interrupted me, solve it and we'll go one to the next level, this is just an easy puzzle that you're gonna solve regardless of whether you want to or not. You're the lab rat now, Doc" said Jack as the speakers turn off.

Dinah accepts the fact that she has to do this whether she wants to or not, she doesn't really have a choice. She starts to think about what relation does 8 and 1 have with the English alphabets and she automatically realizes that the 8th alphabet is H and the first is obviously A, she uses a pen that she had in her pocket to write H and A over and over again on the behind of the alphabetical board, creating a similar drawing to the one on the wall. "I solved it, I solved your damn puzzle. 8 is H and 1 is A, 818181818181 is HAHAHAHAHA" said Dinah as she waited for a silly comeback from Jack but nothing happened.

Confused and tired she sat on the bed, minutes passed and she held the same position with lacking knowledge of what to do. She stared at the window that was facing the cell from the outside and she saw figures moving around, and suddenly what looked like a smoke bomb was thrown from the outside, entered the asylum near the cell and exploded. Dinah couldn't see anything for a couple of seconds until a figure started approaching the cell. When the smoke was clear the figure was revealed, a young teenage girl who wore a mask that hid her entire face. The mask looked like a piece of white cloth with black ink patterns all over it that started changing on their own, the black patterns where similar to that on a Rorschach test.

"Who are you?" Dinah asked but the girl didn't answer, "Do you work with Jack?" Dinah asked but yet again, the girl didn't answer.
The girl spoke in a deep voice saying "Walk with him down this path, he is not a liar. Every thing will be revealed soon". The smoke started to blind Dinah again and then it cleared, the girl was no longer there. Dinah suddenly started having a headache, she fell waiting to be absorbed by gravity and land on the ground but quite the opposite happened, she started walking on the ceiling, not understanding what or why this is happening she decides to jump, needless to say that did work, she starts falling into an endless hole of darkness. She stops and then suddenly falls into a room similar to the one that she saw Jack in for the first time.
She sits on the chair that's facing the door and she hears someone knocking on the door...
