Chapter 10

Nikkys P.O.V.

I woke up shaking, trying to reach for a blanket. I stood up and walked myself to the kitchen, grabbed a glass of water and made my way back to the living room. I tripped over something cold and slippery. "Ow, stupid icicles." I stopped dead in my tracks, water went every where, a shard of glass dropped into my foot. "OWWW!!!" Matt fell off the couch. "Matt help me please, there's glass in my foot," he rushed over to me. "Nikky what the hell happened. Did you slip or something?!" "No! Look the living room has icicles hanging from the ceiling and there's snowflakes everywhere!" He stood there shocked. Looking around the room, carefully trying not to slip on anything. He looked back at me with guilt in his gorgeous, emerald eyes. "I did this Nicks, i dont even know how but i did..." "There's no way you could've done all of this, unless your some type of witch or evil spirit." I turned to him and hurt filled his face as he looked down. "No, No, No, No, Matt I dont think your evil I just meant that this," i pointed at the freezing living room, "isnt your fault." I felt his hands start to freeze up. "It happened last night, i saw a glowing light there, and i went to go touch it, but before i did, my palm got all cold and ice shot out from it!" "Ooohhhhhhhhhh, so who helped you?" I asked out of curiosity. "What?! What do you mean who helped?!" Dayum wellpp he was very annoyed. "Nikky!?" Matt said again forcefully. "Huh-what, oh my bad sorry I zoned out." I giggled and looked at him. "Im serious right now i can prove i did it!" "Matt, its fine. I know you've been wanting to prank me, i must admit i still have no idea how u made the fake glass on my foot hurt but it hurts all right haha!" I looked at the oozing, dark red, liquid flowing down my foot onto the tiles of the kitchen floor. "NIKKY THIS ISN'T A PRANK! THATS REAL BLOOD AND THATS REAL PAIN YOUR FEELING!!" Matt screamed like there was no tommorrow. "Wait, wait, wait...so....your telling me...that your not faking any of this and that im actually bleeding from my foot and im going to die?!" I started to panic, like omg im going to die, i couldn't control myself so i started to cry. "Ehh, i never said die bu-" "MATT!!!" "OK OK, hold on," he picked me up as carefully as he could and put me on the island in the middle of the kitchen, took his shirt off to use as a rag.

"Nikky, i dont think is the time to be checking me out, considering how much blood you've los-i mean nevermind focus on whatever makes you comfortable."

"For f-bomb sakes yes!! I can hear you since all your doing right now is talking out loud!!" Matt got pissed off really fast. I wonder what crawled up his booty and died. "NIKKY!?" "Whattttt?" I giggled again. "To be totally honest with youuuu, i feel all woozy in the head and kinda dizzy, ima go nig...ht..night.." I drifted off to sleep and all i could hear was Matt on the phone saying 'I need a fucking ambulance right now please!', and soon enough my vision went blank.

I saw a figure in the white room i was in. I walked towards the 'person'. "Stay where you are." I froze, didnt even move an inch. "Nichole, I know this is a tough time for you but, this is why I've came. You may not understand whats happening right now and i will explain everything starting with your boyfriend Matthew." I didnt flinch; I didnt look away; I wasnt even scared. "Go on.." I whispered. "Your friend Matt has been given the gift of the elements. Water, Air, Fire, and Earth. With this gift he can control anything he wants, at any moment he perfers. You on the other hand have the gift of Precognition. The ability to receive precognitive flashes of the future when an extreme emotion your feeling triggers it. My sweet child you must learn how to control your powers and help your friend Matthew too. Find The one they call Cage, he will help you use your powers for good. Stay away from the beast." They say. "Who's the beast?" I sat down criss-cross. "He is evil my child, you must stay away from Blade. He's going to want to manipulate you both and turn you against each other. Don't let that happen, because if he does. . .there's no telling what would happen. He's gotten stronger over the years. Becarful my sweet child, I must go now. Remember.

My vision slowly starts to come back and i notice that I'm in the hospital , hooked up to a machine with wires. I struggled to sit up but eventually got it. There was no one in the room so i decided to go the the bathroom and do my business. "OMG SHES GONE! SOMEOME CALL SECURITY AND MAKE SURE SHE HASN'T LEFT THE BUILDING!!!" The doctor and Matt start searching the room and knock on the bathroom. "Who's there?" I said sitting on the toilet. "Omg shes in here!!" Matt says relieved. "I was in here the whole time. What are you talking about?!" "WE THOUGHT YOU GOT UP AND LEFT!" Matt screamed threw the door. "Im finneeeee, ok Matty," I walked out fully clothed, "Soo, when can i leave. IMM STARVING!!" I stretched out my limbs. "They said they'll discharge you in a bit," he walked over to the hospital bed. "But, then we'll go get some food ok?" I wrapped my arms around his neck and pecked a small kiss on the corner of his lips. "Ughhhh! Your such a goddam tease!" He pushed me away while i was just giggling on the bed. The doctor walked in, told us we could go home and gave me a pair of crutches, so the i could walk better with my sore foot. I tried to walk to the elevator but before i could get there matt tried to pick me up and made us both fall. "OW WHAT THE FUDGE MATTHEW?!" I screamed while rubbing my head. "Haha." He rubbed his neck and looked at me with pitty. "So much for trying to be romantic." He whispered. "What was that?" I leaned in. "N-Nothing, I didnt say anything. . ." "Suureee you didn't," I glared at him, "and i totally didn't fall either huh?"  "Ok ok ok! Im sorry i just thought that maybe you wouldve wanted me to carry you to the car. . ." He guilty smiled and helped me get into the elevator without falling this time and helped me get in the car. We drove off to my house and just when i was about to get out, I looked out the window and saw someone familiar. I have no idea who it is, because it was dark out. "Hey?" I turn to Matt. "Yesssss my wittle pwincess?" He pinched my cheeks and made a kissy face. "Do you think that person looks familiar??" Matt stopped fooling around and took a look outside my window.  He squinted his eyes to get a better look and---"Oh my god!? Thats Kent! That is most definitely Kent!!" Matt ran out of the car and tackled him-almost- to the ground and the started talking and catching up while, I, was still in the car. "Matt!!! Come help me, Im hungry!" I tried my best to get up, but only fell back in my seat. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" He smirked

Hey guys im so happy that you guys are still reading even though i barley update. I haven't had the chance to with school and grades but now that im on summer vacation (really since the 25th of may but eh) ill be writing more, i promise. Good day, hope you love this chapter.
