Leah's POV

-

-

"Leah! Leah! Wake up!" a voice shouted.

I opened my eyes to see Nash and Hayes a few inches away from my face.

I scrambled to cover myself, bumping heads with Nash.

"Shit. That hurt." I whispered.

"Wait a second..."

"What?" the boys asked.

"How did you get inside my house?"

"Your front door was unlocked." Hayes smiled.

"Nice tattoo by the way." Nash winked.

Hakuna Matata was the only tattoo I had, thanks to Gunnar. But... it was on my hip.

"You lifted my shirt?!" I yelled.

"Leah, no that is not what happened! We yanked the covers off and saw it." Hayes assured.

"I sure hope so." I hissed.

I got out of bed and slowly walked to my bathroom. I looked at myself, and the reflection that I saw was horrific. I washed my face, put my hair in a messy bun, and brushed my teeth. I took off my spandex and tank top, and replaced them with a pair of black sweats and a lacrosse cut-off shirt. I walked out of the bathroom and gave the boys a welcoming smile.

"Since you guys are here, would you like some breakfast?" I questioned.

"Sure." Hayes grinned.

"Your mom won't mind?" Nash asked curiously.

Crap. What am I going to do? They can't know that I have to live by myself.

What's a good lie?

"My mom? She left on a business trip. She won't be back for awhile." I lied.

I lied, but not really. She was never really here, but she won't be here for awhile.

"Oh, okay." Nash replied.

I walked downstairs, the boys quickly behind. When we got the kitchen, I pulled out pancake mix, chocolate chips, bacon and eggs.

"We thought you meant cereal." Hayes laughed.

"No! You guys are guests in my home. The Collins family motto is, "Guest are more important than yourself." I grinned.

"Nash, chocolate chip pancakes or plain?"

"Chocolate chip." Nash replied.

"Same." Hayes included.

After about 15 minutes of cooking, I finally finished.

The boys sat down at the counter while I was across from them.

"Wow! Leah this is amazing!" Hayes beamed.

"Where did you learn to cook like this?" Nash asked.

"Uhhh. My dad taught me. He was a chef." I whispered.

I couldn't help but think of him, oh how I missed him. I quickly regained myself, making sure the boys couldn't see the tears building up in my eyes.

"Leah, tell us more about yourself." Nash winked.

"Okay. I was born in Rosewood, Texas. Small town. I lived there for 15 years, then I had to move here. I play volleyball, soccer, and lacrosse. I run, but just for fun. If I had to choose between those sports, it would be either Lacrosse or Volleyball. I can't decide between those though. I snowboard, every chance I get. My boyfriend dumped me after two years. I prefer sweats and vans, than high heels and miniskirts. I mean I'll wear them, for example, I can go running in the morning, then get dressed up for a date. I have an 18 year old brother named Cooper, and a 13 year old sister names Alex. I like music and making YouTube videos." I explained.
