My Mystery~ Nate Parker

Lola POV

Nate races ahead of everyone. I didn't actually realise he was so strong, though being a drummer probably helps.

We reach a clearance, surrounded by trees, you can see in the distance a cliff, and the sea behind that. The area has a few logs dotted around, and an area which looks like it had a fire in at one point.

Suddenly the bushes start to shake, I look over, to see Levi running through with Lucy on his back. "Jees man, how you so fast?" He asks Nate. Nate just shrugs. I then realise that I'm still on his back, so quickly hop off.

Drew and Em come through after a while, laughing their heads off, with Austin following behind, laughing as well. We all stare at them giving a confused look. "What's so funny?" Levi asks, while grinning.

"You don't want to know how many times Drew fell over." Austin says.

"Oh Drew!" Levi says, while pushing him lightly, and laughing.

"Can we eat now?" Lucy whines.

"Sure!" Says Drew.

I sit with Emily and Lucy for lunch, while the boys sit in a tight circle, clearly trying to discuss something without wanting anyone to hear. We just ignore them, and just eat, and talk, until Levi comes over with a water bottle, clearly coming to spray us with it.

It is now around 10 o'clock, and we have been here all day, just hanging out. Today has been really nice, I have gotten to know everyone a lot better.

We are all just lying down on the grass, looking up at the stars. It is quite cold, due to the fact that it is late February. Levi, and Lucy are wrapped in a blanket, as well as Drew and Em. Austin doesn't have anything, but his jacket, but he says he's not cold. Nate has his hoodie and a coat on, so he's fine. I am lying in between Nate and Austin.

A light breeze comes in between us, making me shiver a little bit. "You want my coat?" Nate asks.

I shake my head, "Nah I'm fine." I say.

"You look freezing, take it." He says, while taking his coat off.

I give in, as I can't be bothered to argue back, and take the coat. "Thank you!" I say to Nate. He just smiles back. I lie back down next to Nate, and drift off to sleep....

Nate POV

I notice that Lola has fallen asleep on my shoulder, again. She's so cute, when she's asleep. I honestly need to stop thinking of stuff like that, Lola won't ever like me. Also it'll be a bit weird for me dating Levis cousin. The boys have picked up that I like her, and Levi says he'd be fine with it, but I don't know, I find it hard to trust people.

"We should go now guys." Lucy says. Levi looks at me and Lola, and winks at me, making me roll my eyes.

Drew and Emily come over to us, while I try and stand up without waking Lo. We all look down at her, while she's asleep. "We are gonna have to wake her." Says Levi.

"No I'll carry her." I say.

"It's a long walk Nate." Lucy says to me.

"She's light, it's fine." I say, while picking her up.

Levi chuckles, but nods.

Lola POV

I wake up to someone carrying me. I look up to see that it's Nate. I don't remember falling asleep, so I look around to see that we are by my house. I'm still so tired so I just close my eyes, and bury my head into his chest.

I feel myself being put down, on what I'm guessing is my bed. I whisper, "Stay" Not wanting be alone. I feel the bed dip, after a while, and I drift off to a deep sleep....
