Clumsily, the heir fell onto the floor as she crashed through the doors to meet her father's reptilian stare.
"You're late." He states sternly.
"Sorry Father, by only by a few minutes." Replied the demon, 'Could have been longer' she mumbled under her breath.
"Sit then child, we have a lot to discuss."
Daeva immediately rushed over to the red leather chairs facing her father's looming throne. He had the throne made from the oldest skulls and bones found in the paradise. Somehow it made the room colder with the trapped spirits inside it. Slyly, the leader followed his daughter to his throne with a devious grin. "I have a job for you Daeva." Shocked Daeva smiled with delight; she had never been given a job by her father before, she had only done what she desired for the past hundred years. The snake-like leader shot dagger filled stares at his daughter inferring her to stop grinning like a delirious baby. "The task in hand is very dangerous and I can't express how important it is for you to complete it immaculately." Curiosity filled the girl's mind as .she began to wonder what sort of death defying tasks her father conjured up. Her father stood up and signalled for his daughter to follow; he scowled over the demonic underworld from the menacing mansions window.
"You cannot rule a realm without ruining another child. One day my demons, ghouls and poltergeists shall need a ruler to show them the greatness in our world. But Daeva you have nothing to prove you are ready to be as vicious and vile as me."
Daeva sank her head as her fathers words echoed inside her porcelain head.
"Fortunately, I have found a way for you to prove yourself as a Satan." He looks from the rotting scene to his intent heir, her eyes full of wonder and confusion.
