it's joe's last whole day in la until he flys home to the uk again tomorrow afternoon. he's hoping he won't be flying home alone.
lexie was feeling the sun rays burning on her exposed skin. her breathing was soft as she relaxed in the sun. she's never been so happy, joes here with her and her girls and this week has been full of laughs and banta.
the girl suddenly shot up into a seating position at the feeling of a cold liquid being thrown at her. she gasped at the shivers shooting up her back and removed her now soaked sunglasses to see joes cheesy grin above her.
"joey!" lexie laughed making joe smile wider. he's favourite sound was her laugh and being the reason behind it was meant the world to him. "get here"
joe set off on a run away from lexie who was chasing him with cold dripping wet hair over her shoulders.
within moments, joe disappeared under the water. lexie groaned as he resurfaced, she really didn't feel like having a swim but she wanted to get revenge on joe. or just to be close to him.
"you really want revenge?" joes smile made lexie melt inside, she shook her head but had no choose to walk way.
she resurfaced, gasping a breath of air and her girls laughter filled her ears. she flipped them both off before swimming over to joe.
they started to play fight in the water, dunking each other and the splashing around. until joe picked lexie in a bridle carry and dipped her in before pulling her up again quickly. they both were laughing as they looked at each other.
joe couldn't fight the urge any longer, not now she's close to him and looking drop dead gorgeous in his arms. everything felt right and he knew she felt it to. the feeling he gets when skin touches skin or when his eyes lock with hers or when he can't not stare at her because he found her the most beautiful girl on the earth and was lucky to have her so close to him.
he's blue eyes flicked between her lips and eyes. lexie followed joes eyes as he did so. she secretly wanted to make a move but was afraid of him not feeling the same way or rejection.
but it was clear to her that he did feel the same when he delicately placed his lips on hers. sparks of electricity shoot through them both making their hearts want more of each other.
"come home with me, princess" joe whispered breathless from the kiss as they pulled away. he knew from the day he landed that he wanted lexie to be seated next to him when he goes back. he knew he wanted her so bad.
he slowly dropped lexie to her feet. she was tiptoeing on the floor of the pool, staring into joes blue orbs. she wanted to fly back with him and be with him for longer but questions we unanswered.
"don't worry sis, we got it all planned" the younger twins voice said making them both turn to see the girls by the poolside.
lexie looked back at joe, pressing her lips into his again.
