Finding A New Life

Chapter 26:

Katelynns P.O.V.

"Niall! Just tell me where I'm going. I need to know what to wear." I whined selfishly.

"Dress casual, you'll look beautiful." he said and a crimson color covered my cheeks as I hiked up the tall staircase of my Aunts house.

I opened the closet doors and picked out jeans and a colorful tank top, adding a short jean jacket. I threw my hair up into a messy bun and didn't dare to even touch my make up box. I put on Nialls charm bracelet that he got me just yesterday,and headed down stairs.

"And just as I said, you look stunning ma'dam." Niall teased as he lead me to the car.

"Ok, now where shall we go?"

"That's for me to know, and you to find out." Niall explained as he tied the knot of the bandana that rested over my eyes. We drive for what seemed to be 45-50 minutes before I heard the engine stop. A door opened then shut and the door next to me opened and I turned so my feet hung out of the SUV. I went to get out of the car but a body stood before me.

"For you to get out of the car, you must kiss me first." Niall said, and I could practically see his Idiot grin on his face.

I did as instructed, and he took my hand leading me out of the way of the door, and he shut it.

"How much longer?"

"Just a few more feet, come on. This way."

When he stopped, I felt his hands start to untie the knot. "are you ready?"

"Yeah."

Suddenly light shined through the bandana's creases that were slowly etching their way away from my face. Before me was a lake surrounded by trees and tall grasses. I looked behind me to find a circular patch of cut grasses, in which the car was parked.

In the area in front of me there was a blanket with the small box in the center of it. Not any small box , it was the small box from last night. I had completely forgotten about it, but now I was more excited for it than ever.

I turned towards Niall, speechless. He nodded and I stepped forward on the blanket, and sat down. He sat down beside me, and handed me the small box.

"Go ahead, open it."

I started to slowly untie the silver silk ribbon that was tied perfectly on top into the shape of a bow. once I was done I lifted up the top of the box to find two tickets. Airplane tickets, to Paris.

I can't even comprehend this right now. It's all so much. He never needed to do this, but he knew. Niall knew it was my most favorite place in the world, and that's where he wanted to take me.

I starred at the tickets in the box picking them up, but felt something underneath them. I laid the tickets beside the box and saw a little black box underneath.

That's when he picked it up, and opened the box.

"It's a promise ring. I promise, that forever I will love you. I will not give up hope in you, I will never trade you in, or break you down. Never, ever will I make you feel diminished, or faded. You will always light up my life. Please, take it. Take the ring and the tickets as a promise." This is all too much. I could never accept this. " now, give me your hand. "

"Niall, are you sure?"

"Yes. Ive never been so sure about something ever."

So um yeah short chapter I know but I'm just now getting back into the wattpad rhythm. with the cruise being the week before last and last week being testing, its been a lot of work. ill b back on track soon. thanks!
