Chapter 19

*Katelynn's P.O.V.*

Niall and I have our own car, but the

boys went in their own seperate cars. When we get in Niall doesnt wait a second before asking me the obvious question.

"What did he whisper?"

"Oh Lou?"

"Who else?" he demands.

"He said something like 'dont let him screw it up he loves you too much'. "

"Oh, good" He says with a sigh of relief.

"So what did he whisper to you?"

"Well...um..."

"Spit it out. I told you. Now come on."

"He-" He groans, then continues, "Well...Lou is, well he has a way og going about with... things."

"Such as?"

"He thinks ... He thinks Liam likes you. He told me to watch out."He rushes the words, nervously.

"I know he likes me but that doesnt matter. I have feelings for you not him." I say truthfully.

"Well then." He laughs, but sighs again, in relief.

When we sit down at the large booth, the waitor greets us and asks us if we would want any white wine. Louis says yes and the waitor, whos name we've now learned to be Tim, brings each of us the thin glasses. Then pours them three fourths of the way full.

Im not of age yet but I decide to try the liquid. Its soft on my tongue and with 2 glasses I already feel bubbly. Scince my system hasnt made a barrier against the acohol, the bubbly inside has nothing stopping it.

Ive kept my mouth shut in this time. The boys seem to be having a good time talking amongst eachother. Niall looks everything but amused at all of it.

When we order our food, the boys settle down a bit. I order just a 6oz. steak well done with a small salad and baked potato.

After 15 mins the food is back.

I heard faint music in the background as I picked at my salad drifting back and forth swaying, in my own little world.

And just then, the questions started.

"So, Katelynn....How old are you?"

"Well-"

"Shes 17, almost 18." Niall says harshly between angry chews.

"Gee whats wrong with you loverboy?" I giggle.

"Nothing." He spits.

"I dont believe that mister!" I say in my bubbly tone.

"Well uts not about what you believe. Can we just go to Nandos or something?"

*Niall's P.O.V.*

I dont even want to go to Nandos. I just want to get as far away from Liam as possible. Im sick of that look he gives her all day, like hes completely infatuated.

It makes me want to reach across the table and kill him, but I could never do it. Thats why Ive got to get out of here.

"Umm Katelynn?"

"Yeah?"

"Its time to go. Are you almost done?"

"Yeah im finished Loverboy."

"Please stop calling me that." I try to keep my cool as I dismiss the boys and head for the car.

"Why did we have to go? I liked that wine.It was really good.-"

"Katelynn! How many drinks did you have?"

"About 5, or 6, maybe 7...ooh I like that number."

Its amazing how cute she is when shes drunk . Her eyes are lit up, the circles under her eyes leave. She looks beautiful.

"Hello?" I hear her say, snaping me out of the peaceful thoughts, The ones that have already calmed me down.

"Sorry,distracted."

"Its okie dokie. Haha that sounds weird. Thats my new favorite word! Dokie, dokie, okie dokie..."

She continues her mini rant as we drive.

"Where do you wanna go?" she asks finally.

"I dont know."

" We've got all night, were going no where. why dont you stay? Why dont we go there? Lets take a ride out out in the cold air, I know the way. Why dont we go there with me?" She sings playfully but it sounds beautiful.

I start to sing with her and mimic her dancing of swaying and pointing her fingers in random places.

"Say the word, say the word but dont say no! Sky dive, you and I with just these clothes! Secrets safe with me. Theres no right time or place, Cause anyone could see, well do it anyway!!! 'Cause we've got all night, were going no where. why dont you stay? Why dont we go there? Lets take a ride out out in the cold air, I know the way. Why dont we go there with me?"

She points at me for my solo, still moving with the music.

"Hey! I dont want you to be, the one that got away. I wanna get addicted to ya yeah! Your rushin' through my mind, I wanna feel the high. I wanna be addicted dont say no! Just let go!"

She finishes the song with me, but then she speaks up,"That was alot of fun."

"I know. How did you know that song?"

"Umm... I listen to one direction too ya know..."

"Good. Whats your favorite?"

"I dont have one, which ever ones you have a solo in I guess."

She seems to have sobered up a little, so I know she is telling the truth."Thats sweet." I smile," Your a great singer you know..."
