-Natalie's POV-
Does it surprise me that Aiden somehow gave away our dispostion in one day? One class period, nonetheless! But, honestly, consider me totally unsurprised. I stormed the hallways, searching for my disobediant counterparts.
"Aiden, calm down!" Ethan. I ran towards the demand, seeing Ethan pinning a glowing-eyed Aiden to the metal lockers. He kept thrashing, his back being slammed repeatively into the lockers, leaving dents and impurties adorning the pliable surface. Ethan's grunts sounded tired and becoming lifeless; the match equally strengthed. My eyes flashed a deep crimson, and a voice I didn't recognize posessed me.
"Stop." One word, one syllable. All of the struggle suceeded; Ethan's whitened knuckles broke free from their sweaty grip on Aiden's bicep, as Aiden fell into a panting, fleshy slump on the floor. Even though, I didn't recall any physicalities, I was panting, my knuckle bones seemingly bursting through the pale skin.
After gaining my breath, I turned around, bewildering an empty hallway, except for one heartbeat, a loud vibrato pulsating in my ears, a regularity, no sign or fear or instilment.
I could feel my eyes shining a bold red, and I couldn't shift them back, as if fate wanted me to embrace this side of me, permanantly. I keep my eyes angled down, staring at a pair of tan combat boots; no sign of eye contact.
I heard the shuffling of the twins behind me, but it wasn't wavering. I was grounded in my postition, and I was frozen, unable to redirect myself. I knew it was inevitable... I wore my confidence like a facade, meeting his gentle, brown eyes with my own vermillion orbs.
I felt his aura of uneasiness, restlessness from my previous scene, but his physicality was unshaken, admirably enough. Our confrontation was unspoken, but bursting with energy like a flaming flint, almost ravenously fueled with territorial insticts provided by him.
My heart steadied as my eyes reverted to their pale green reality. In order to ever prove to him of my intentions, I couldn't seem amateur. I regained bodily control, sauntering over to the twins, shrugging the scene away as if it was insignificant. I grasped Ethan's wrist, letting him use my body as support in order to stand upright. After he seemed steady, I nodded, assuring his postition in helping Aiden. I turned back to where McCall was standing, only to behold a ghost.
-Scott's POV-
I didn't understand. How could she subdue an alpha, much less two?! With one word. One syllable, for God's sake! I stormed off into the parking lot, leaving the school behind me.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket, sending a message to Stiles.
'Get out ASAP. We need to go see Derek.'
After about five minutes of leaning against the blue 1980's jeep, I heard Stiles approach, twirling his jangling keys around his middle finger. "So why are we ditching school have tea time with Derek?" He sassed, creaking the door open to his jeep and throwing his backpack inside. "Not that I mind the ditching school part."
I crawled into the passenger side of his jeep, slamming the squealing door shut. "Wouldn't you want to know if your sister randomly appeared out of the blue?" I tried procrastinating the real reason; explaining to Stiles the power of her voice, the authority she possessed.
He egnited the engine, backing out with ease. "Not that I have a valid opinion in this werewolf shit, but maybe they were distanced for a reason, Scott."
I grinded my teeth, glaring at Stiles. He was right, though. I couldn't assume Derek and Natalie were on speaking terms. I had no idea about Natalie, and with the Hales' past history, who knows what baggage she has...
"You know I'm right, Scott. They might be family, but that doesn't mean they enjoy each others company. Just like your dad," Stiles lectured, eyes focused on the road.
I rolled my eyes at the mention of my dad. "But I'd still want to know if my dad was in town..." I groaned. He shrugged in response.
"I suppose. I guess he does have a right to know." He nodded.
I grinned. "Besides, he might already know. I just need some... background information on her."
Stiles shot me a glare. "Damn, you rebound fast."
"No!" My face flushing as a picture of Allison swam in my conscience. "No. More along the lines of strategy based."
Stiles's gaze returned to the road. "Ahh! Got 'cha." He nodded. "Because remember, I saw her first." I smacked the back of his head, it jerking towards the steering wheel. "What the hell?!"
"No. Keep driving."
Pulling into Derek's house, my palms were dewed with perspiration. Something about the way she said 'stop' sent chills down my spine, her poise and authority evident through one word. One syllable.
Stiles yanked the keys out of the egnition, once again, slipping the keyring onto his middle finger. "Let's go."
I gathered myself, exiting the jeep and walking up to Derek's door. I was unnerved by what I might find out, but it was inevitable.
As we made our way up to the door, his door creaked open, an emerging figure appearing out of the darkness. "Scott. Stiles."
"Ya' know, you could not be so creepy. You'd probably have more friends." Stiles smart-mouthed.
"Shut up, Stiles." Derek growled. "What are you even doing here?"
I sighed, not sure what to even say. "I thought I should inform you of some new arrivals to Beacon Hills."
Silence. Silence, except for the annoying ambience, provided by Stiles and his keys.
"What do you mean?" Derek's pale green eyes resembled the ones I came to embrace just moments earlier.
"Ya' know, werewolves." I nonchalantly scratched the back of my neck.
I could feel Stiles condescending stare, given the idiotic response I just stated. Derek's thick eyebrows furrowed. "And?"
The colliding keys ceased, and I heard Stiles sigh. "For God's sake, what he's trying to say is, Derek, your sister is here."
