Dear lost love,
The world outside the window seemed to go past without me realizing. The light from the street lamps, that scattered across the lonely avenues, leaked through the glass separating us from the troubles of the outside world. We were going fast, but inside this sanctuary everything seemed almost still. My eyes yearned for sleep, but I couldn't put them at rest. For the boy sitting next to me was to wonderful. I was afraid to close my eyes, for I might miss even a short second of this impeccable gift that sat peacefully beside me. A feeling of tranquility and serenity lingered in the midnight air. How lucky I had been to see such a sight, and feel such a feeling that cold night. His hand was intertwined with mine, I knew how bad it was going to hurt if ever one day, he let go. A simple beam of light shined across his soft skin revealing a sculptured face, understanding eyes and a smile like no other. It was his smile that I loved the most, it could brighten even my darkest of days. Those eyes could melt my heart even with the most innocent of looks. I struggle to comprehend how someone so perfect, so pure, so genuine, so amazing, happened to stumble into my life and make everything okay. How something so great can happen to an ordinary person like me. This boy, with a huge heart and the face of a god was all mine. I love him. It is in times like these when I pray that when I walk down the aisle, dressed in white, I see that same pair of understanding brown eyes, the sculptured face and that perfect smile, waiting for me at the end.
