Amanda's POV

I walked down the hall carrying my books, binders and all that jazz in my favorite cross-over tote that I tie-dyed so many different shades of blue during summer camp last summer with Jenny. Sigh. Why'd she have to overract, a common mistake of her's. I neared the auditorium as only a couple of groups of friends were left walking down the hall. As I got closer, I could see her. Jen. I began walking slower, mainly in awe. I quickly hid in a small indent in the wall where it went out a bit. How convenient. I made sure I was hidden, then I listened carefully.

"So, Jen, what exactly happened between you and your little....stalker?" a familiar voice said.

"Not gonna say much 'bout it, but let's just say that she was being too demanding and totally not understanding." I heard Jen say. I couldn't beleive it! I just felt like springing out from the wall and bulleting right down the hall to her and just....just....ERG!!!! I clenched my fists and forced myself to stay calm.

"Oh, well I guess that's too bad, for her. No offense, Jenny, but lets face it. Everyone thought of....what's her name again? Amy? Anyway, everyone thought that she was just someone who was pretty much your fan, not a true friend. Ya know? She always seemed to be changing moods, too. You must be releived to not have to deal with her anymore! I mean seriously, personal space is important! Ya know?" the familiar voice said again. At this point my head was boiling. I couldn't take it anymore. I pushed off against the wall and slammed into Jen, who was coincidently just passing my area with her new group. I was speechless when I crashed into her, I thought she'd be farther down the hall than that!

"Wha-?!?!?!" she said imidiately. Everyone was startled. I awkwardly caught my balance and backed up from them, who were now squashed into eachother.

"Mandy?!" she said surprised. I tried to stare at her in anger and frustration, but I was in too much shock of what they had said.

"Woww talk about desperate" the girl in the middle of their group, clearly the tallest, said. Then, a light switched on in my head.

As their group walked away angrily, even Jen, I knew exactly who she was with. Maybe that's why I was in so much awe. Lindsay Williams. Never would I ever think of Jen becoming best friends with the enemy.
