Chapter 5

Jen's POV:

I wake up in some type of hospital. I look around fearfully because I fear that Nick might be here but all I find is Josh fast asleep in a chair across the room. "What am I doing here?" I reluctantly ask Josh. " O my gosh Jen your awake!" says Josh. And before I know it pulls his lips to mine. "Sorry." Josh says sheepishly. "Its ok I liked it." I say back. And once again his lips are against mine. I didn't realize how much I liked Josh until this moment. "Ok so what am I doing here?" I say again. "Well," Josh begins, "You were shot by Nick in the arm and you had to get to stitches." Josh says painfully. "Oh" I say, "How long till I get to go home?" I say reluctantly. "Well the doctors say today." Josh says. "Yah!" I say. Josh grabs his jacket and I grab mine and we head out to his car. Right once we reach the doors we can already see camera crews all hounding the door. " Oh great" Josh mumbles to himself. We begin walking and are hounded with questions but Josh just keeps walking. When we finally get to his car I am so relieved. We get in and head to my house. When we reach my house we sit in the car for a minute. I then ask Josh "What is going to happen to Nick?" "Well I don't know Jen." he says fearfully. We walk inside and I go to my room to pack a bag since I decided to sty with Josh for a couple of days until Nick is put in jail. I turn around and see Josh looking at me through the doorway. "What are you looking at?" I say kiddingly. "The most beautiful girl in the world." Josh replies. Josh walks in and kisses me on the lips and I kiss him back.

Josh's POV:

I wake up next to Jen on the couch in my house. I am so glad that Jen is ok and that she is spending the next couple days with me. Today is Nick's trial so I decide to distract Jen by taking her on a date somewhere. Jen starts to stretch and I know that she is awake. "Good morning Jen" I say. "Good morning Joshy" says Jen "So what are we gonna do today Joshy? questions Jen. "Well I was thinking we could hang out here this morning and go see a movie and go out to dinner tonight. " I say. "Oh sounds exciting!" says Jen. "Do you want cereal?" I ask Jen. "Sure." she says I walk to the kitchen and get some fruit loops and milk for Jen and I. When I walk back in I see Jen fast asleep again with Spongebob on the tv. Man when she does stuff like this it just makes me fall in love with her over and over again.
