I looked around, confused.
Where am I?
There was no one an nothing surrounded me. I looked over my shoulder, only to be greeted by a black figure towering next to me as I stared at her with widened eyes.
"Margie?"
My heart started pounding quickly. There was a pause for a moment.
"Margie!"
I jolt up from my sleeping position again, realizing that someone or something might have woke me up and I would have to deal with another sign of paranormal activities.
I stopped breathing heavily as I realize where or who am I with. I looked around like an idiot.
"Where am I?" I asked.
"Your own house, fancy pants."
I glared at the owner of the soft voice and sighed out of relief knowing it was Kelsey. However, my gaze dropped into my current position and location.
"Why the heck am I in my attic?"
Kelsey's lips curled into a smirk. I couldn't help but think she did this to me as a prank. I squinted my eyes at her and raised an eyebrow.
"Well, well." she cleared her throat. "Looks like Little Miss Fancy Pants clearly lost her memories, huh?"
I leaned closer to her. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Your parents had erased your memories about Abby."
My eyes widened at her response. No way, that's impossible, right?
"But Kelsey, they're-"
I was cut off by Kelsey's arms wrapped around my shoulders as she pulled me up to my feet. I opened my mouth to say something, but immediately got interrupted as she leaned closer and whispered and winked,
"Well, looks like I'll need to explain loads of thigs then."
