Third Person POV

She sighed loudly and slowly began. "I wasn't your average poor girl you know. I was part of one of the most respectable and rich families here. My father Mr.Gautam Raiprakash, the biggest business tycoon was a big gun in the city."

"Wait you are Gautam Raiprakash's daughter???"He asked shocked because he never would have guessed. Everybody in the city knew who Gautam Raiprakash was.
"Correction I was" She said with a hostile tone as if she was disgusted to be ever associated as his daughter.

He waited for her to explain.
"My dad was a very ambitious person. Even though he was busy with his work he would always be there for me. I never knew my mom. Doesn't mean she was dead, she was out there somewhere but I did not know her. My dad would spare his time for me and we had a very special bond. I was a typical Daddy's girl. When I was young I used to feel alone and ignored but as I grew Up I changed myself. I became someone I am not. Loneliness did not bother me anymore."

He didn't understand yet how her life changed her this much.

"My life was tolerable but everything changed in a flick of a second I was left with nothing but a broken and scarred soul."

Her voice got a little heavier and he knew that this is the moment where it's going to get tough for her. So as encouragement he squeezed her tight in his arms.
She relaxed visibly and then began again.

"Being a high society member I was used to high society parties. They were a big snooze but I had to attend them because of my Dad. I never knew one such party will screw my life so bad"

"Shivam Rastogi son of Rajeev Rastogi, the most successful business tycoon, I met him in one such High society party that my dad threw. His father was my dad's closest business companion. My dad being My dad always thought about business and profit but I never knew that he would use his own daughter as a scapegoat to earn profit"
As soon as she finished her sentence a tear rolled down her eye and dropped on his chest. He was not good with sobbing and crying mess but somehow he could not bring himself to leave her. He clutched her harder to him giving her strength.

"I met Shivam and we talked but I was a little skeptical about him. I always felt that he pretended to be someone he was not. He just didn't feel right but my dad persuaded me to be friends with him and to get to know him so I agreed but somewhere in the back of my mind my inhibitions about him never left. We were friends but not friends, if you know what I mean then one day he suddenly asked me to be his girlfriend and I refused because I didn't feel anything about him.

"I was very passionate about dance. It was my way of escaping life. While dancing I felt like I am in heaven. I just didn't know how dance became everything to me. I wanted to become a professional dancer. It became my ambition."

The way she spoke about dance made him believe how much it meant to her. The emotions were clear in her voice. Dance was her life, he couldn't understand how something that was her life could destroy her. So he waited.

"
I was so excited to tell my dad about my dream and ambition. I was so sure that he will support me but I was so wrong, so so wrong. I told him one day and he went ballistic. I didn't even understand and that's when he told me something that shook my whole world. My mom was a dancer too. She was the best and my dad met her at an event where she was called to perform. He fell in love with her at first sight. He approached her later and they started from then on. Their love grew and they got married. After their marriage dad gave more and more time to his business and less time to mom. My mom felt neglected and lonely in her own house. She resumed dance and my father had no problem. There at the academy she met someone. He was the same age as her. Their interactions grew into something more and soon they were in love. It was that time she found out that she was pregnant with me. My dad was happier than ever. He thought that maybe a baby will save his marriage from falling apart. My mom although thought completely different so she carried on with the affair and after she gave birth to me she abandoned me and dad for him. From that day onward my dad hated dance and dancers with a passion. He told me this and I couldn't help but feel guilty for everything that my poor excuse of a mom did to my dad and to me. But was it fair that I was being punished for something that she did?
