Chapter 3

Smiling , she dials his number which he picks a few seconds later.
" hey , I'm in front of your house" Alex speaks
" yeah yeah ,I know.who stands in front of my house and gawk at it without me knowing " Elkin replies teasing her ." Will be right there , lemme take some money from my mom" he adds still teasing her.
" I have no comeback for you. Not today" Alex smiles into the phone and hangs up
Soon he's beside her and she drives of. Since it was her day to drive , she took off with an uncertain destination.
" where does his almighty want to go to? " Alex asks as she looks at him wave his hands through his black hair . He looked exactly like his dad too and they always laughed at how much they both looked like their dads and how their moms lost at the battle of having their only kids to look like their men. Everyone loves Elkin . A statement Alex hears every time. He was the best to her especially with her heart after him. She never saw any guy as perfect as him which is why she stayed single.
" well I don't know . You tell me my designated driver . Where are we headed ? " he threw the question back at Alex
" erm, let's visit your girl friend " she giggles .
" stop making fun of her . The fact that she's jealous of our friendship doesn't mean you should ridicule her. And besides , when are you getting yourself one?" Elkin teases
" eeew , I'm not a lesbian " she kids
"I meant a boyfriend dummy " he laughs at her silliness
" oh that , I don't know " she smiles "maybe I'm waiting for you to come around" she thought
"Okay then. Let's go to school and play " Elkin suggests
"What other option do I have " Alex asks
"No other "
She smiles and huffs playfully "fine. Let's watch you play and flaunt your talents in my face"
"Yes!" Elkin exclaims victorious
"I win" he adds
"Yea yea.. You always do Elkin " she says "can we get some lunch at McDonald's . I'll be hungry watching you play" she teases.
" oh but you had lunch before you came over for me." He replies
"It's an order Elkin " she bosses
"Okay ma'am " he says raising his hands up as she turns to the McDonald's place.
"Now I win" she grins as she parks into a spot at the McDonald's parking space.
" oh yea ? " he asks deviously as he gets out of the car ready to race her to the joint.
He sprints off as soon as he's out of the car laughing all the way. " let's see who wins this time" he calls out to her
"Oh this is cheating Elkin,extreme cheating " she laughs as she shouts back at him .running after him and laughing .
She loved being around Elkin. He was fun and loving and he rose all spirits in her and calmed all her nerves. He brought out the best in her. She huffed as she reached him. He had already placed their order and was waiting for her. Turning to look at her he winked at her making her stomach flutter and her heart beat faster . She loved how he made her feel around her .
" hey, it was just a short distance dearie, no need to pant like you raced Hussein bolt " he teased her.
" I hate you " she said smiling as she hit him painfully.
" ooh you wound my heart " he said faking crying as he touched his chest.she laughed and says it again.
" yeah yeah. I know. You say it all the time. I don't know what I dobro make you love me this much . I mean , I know my good looks and charm don't work on you ..."
" I'll kill you " she cuts him off as her face goes pink from embarrassment .
Laughing they are called for their food . They take their order and head off back to the road to their school. Singing along to their favorite tune , party by Chris brown  they head for the school. As they reach the school gates they check in with their dis to the security guard and enter. Their school new mont high was a high rank school where on,y rich kids and influential people's kids go to school. They  had the access to the school facilities during weekends so Alex and Elkin usually came there to play during weekends .As they entered they realized they were the only ones in today. With that as their cue , they ran around the school from class to class acting like their teachers and headmaster and laughed as they replayed past events that happened I'm the school. As they teased each other. After exhaustion set in, they settled beside the swim mining pool and had their lunch deciding to have a bath right after. Laughing and teasing each other Elkins phone rings as they settle on the topic of his girlfriend . Checking the caller id he shows it to Alex laughing" speak of the devil and he will come to you " he said
Alex laughed and gestured so he pick. He just chuckled and slid it into his pockets and continued. Talking about nothing really , Alex thinks about how Elkin treats her like his priority, even better than his girlfriend and it makes her feel all giddy inside.
After eating , Elkin gets up , dump their left over in the bin . He then strips and jumps into the pool.
" omg Elkin. You just didn't do that . Cmon ,put on some clothes or I'm not coming in"  Alex screams laughing as she gazes adoringly at his glorious nakedness in the pool.
" cmon there is nothig scary about little Elkin " he laughs as he points into the pool
" you silly boy " she says making him throw his head back and laugh.
Ignoring him she takes his clothes and try to run and hide him buh Elkin being fast and tall he gets out quickly and grabs her from behind before she disappeared .
Alex gives a scream as she realizes what's going on
" omg, let go off me you weasel . You are wet and and...." She stammered as she felt all giddy inside .
"And naked "  he said ,completing her sentence. Turning her around, he kisses her forehead which makes her blush and drop his clothes. Unaware , he pulls her with him into the pool.
" omg, you are an ass Elkin. Now I'm all wet " she screamed laughing along .
" take them off then and lemme dry it for you . They will be dry after we will be done " he replies smiling
" no way . Silly . There's no...." Elkin shows her her shorts and underwear to her before she finishes her statement .
" O MY GOD ! ELKIN!! ..what has come over you ?" She screams. Before she could continue to complain he takes off her top and dashes out of the water.
