And just as we predicted, the picture of my hand in Harry's became the controvesy of the next day. I explained everything to Liam, and he seemed to understand. Or he was just acting.
Either way, the boys and I tried to lay low for the next week, but I was slowly going stir crazy. As I stood in the kitchen, making one of my famous tuna sandwiches for Niall, the flat door sounded. Louis and his girlfriend Eleanor entered the the kitchen/living room, giving us a large greeting.
"Hey Eleanor!" I smiled at her. Ever since I moved in with the boys, I hadn't had much girl interaction. Eleanor and I began talking often, and we have now become really close friends.
"Hey, wanna go out for lunch?" She asked while flipping back her long wavy brown hair.
"What about me?" Louis interjected with a smirk.
"Oh well, Livy and I need to catch up!" She gave Louis a kiss as he hurried around the living room searching for something.
"Sure! I haven't been out all week. I need some release!"
"So, are you going to tell me whats going on between Harry and you. I watched that interview on Sunday, it was pretty mysterious." She whispered while bringing the sandwich she had up to her mouth. I looked down at my own sandwich, wishing I could just hide behind it. If I could tell anyone what was going on, Eleanor was my girl.
"To be honest, I have no idea." I sighed. "I mean, we've gone out a few times, but I'm not sure if they are really dates. Or if he just likes me as a friend." I didn't dare look up at her. "I mean, I'm almost certain he likes me. The question is, do I like him back, and is what going on ever going to be 'official'" In that very moment, I had spilled almost everything I had been holding in for the past month.
"Wow! So, when Harry completely avoided the question, it wasn't because he didn't want to say. It was because he didn't even know the answer!" Eleanor awed. "But Livy, I honestly think you and Harry would be great together." She encouraged.
"What about Liam?"
"Who cares about Liam! DIdn't he date your friend a couple of years ago?" She added. making me believe her point.
"Yeah, but I can't be sure if I really like Harry until he says he likes me." I cried.
"Then go out for dinner somewhere, you'll be forced to talk." Eleanor shrugged.
"Are you daft!" I chuckled out of spite. "If you didn't know, the media is following Harry and I wherever we go! It would just make rumors way more evident!"
"So? If the dinner goes well, then you can confirm the rumors! If it doesn't then you'll just say you're only friends. I know Louis and I didn't have this much media, but everyone is dying to know! Harry is a notorious flirt, if you're the girl that ties him down, you'll be legendary!" She exclaimed.
"Okay, I guess I'll give it a go. Oh wait, how am I supposed to arrange this dinner?! I can't ask him!" Reality suddenly hit me. Harry would never just go and ask me out. Even though he is known to be a ladies man, that is not anything like the Harry I know.
"Where is Harry right now?" She pulled out her phone and turned it on.
"The flat."
"I'll just text Louis and get him to convince Harry to ask you out!" Her fingers began texting rapidly. Knowing there was probably no other way, I agreed.
"I think I got a text." I announced about ten minutes later.
Do you want to go out to dinner tonight? No pressure.
"I think its a date!"
