To accept fear and hunger

Is like fighting against thunder

To loose your beloved ones

Builds in you the fear of shot guns.

To be once a kid that hid

But now one with an open lid.

To wish you were once normal

Makes the question so formal

To ask about today

Is harsh to answer in a way

To say what we became

Is nothing but a society of shame.

And now we stand still

Trying to hold up the hill.

It is never too late

To reverse fate.

So now maybe it's time

We all stand up

And stop the crime

Before it runs out the cup.
