A soft mummer of different conversations were heard. Each about the same subject though.
Each about Silver.
No one knew how the Captain would take it. Silver and Comet were two peas in a pod since day one.
When this whole dystopian wold started, they were friends already. Even if almost everyone lives underground, for some reason, they were up here. And for fuck's sake, they couldn't remember anything in all honesty. Only basic survival and skills. But something was special with Comet and Silver. They could remember each other.
It was always a mystery, but it looks like it's gonna be a hard case to crack now.
"We need a new recruit now. But who? Now that almost everyone in these are in a group, gang, clan, I don't give a shit what it's called, but there may be no one to recruit..." Timber, second in charge, said.
"Why does everyone morn over him so much, me and DS is funny too!" Fire said as he sat where they were, except on the table.
"Well because unlike you and DS, Silver had the decency to not make fun of everyone else! Your just always so jealous when your not the best! He-" Bat, who was sitting with Timber, started to say when the Captain walked in.
Everyone looked at him. Scared of the response they may get, they all sat anxiously. Fidgeting and holding their breath, they waited for his words.
"I need everyone to clean up the area and do some fixing up around here. It's a mess." He said this as he walk away.
You see, their base was made as an underground-ish fort. It was a hole in the ground that was dug out to make a big open space. It was like a dome, but big enough for 10 people. Since they have been in the place for at least 3 years, they have made it bigger and have made different break-offs throughout the year.
It was really big by now.
Everyone released their breath. But this lead to a collection of groans and pouts afterwards.
"Come on," Bull, the strongest one said, "We do it every week, what's new?" They all agreed to this statement, but it didn't mean they liked it.Hours had gone by and the base was pretty much spotless. Each of them started to head to their rooms one by one, but was stopped by a yelling and a falling.
"Who the fuck is in our base??" They all turned their heads to the person, who was now on the floor. Seemingly in pain.
"Hey Boss! There is a little dipshit in our base."
The person's face was covered with a helmet. Their outfit completely black, but had random red outlines. The helmet cracked, possibly came from a motorbiker.
Comet walks in and sees the person getting up. He holds a gun out.
"Oh shit Comet ain't playing anymore." Fire laughed a bit. It was high pitched and somewhat annoying to some of the others.
