Today was the rally. Everyone was excited about it. It was going to be at the end of school. My friends and I were looking forward to the rally. When the last bell rang, everyone rushed to the auditorium. It was very crowded at the entrance and very hard to get it. We literally had to hold each others' backpacks.

Everyone was at the benches in the auditorium. Screaming on top of their lungs for their class and graduating year. My friends and I went to our section and placed our backpacks down. Everyone was getting ready for the rally. The performers were doing their warm-ups and the band kids were playing their instruments.

In a couple of minutes, the rally started. Different groups and clubs came and performed. I was on the top of the bench, yelling on top of my lungs. Everyone was so enthusiastic and energetic that the benches were moving and people were swaying around.

Suddenly I felt someone shove me from some direction and I was about to fall. There was nothing that I could put my grip on which led to me losing my balance.

Out of nowhere, a pair of hands were on my hips and helped me regain my balance.

I turn around and see my boyfriend behind me, holding me and smiling down upon me.

"Don't worry. I got you. I won't let you fall."

I gently smile and turn my head, facing forward. While I was enjoying the rest of the rally, I could still feel the pair of hands on my waist.
