So it's about 6 o'clock and we're all getting ready. Well everyone was ready. I'm wearing a blue velvet cropped jacket with the matching shorts. My hair was somewhat curled. Emy was wearing some kind of body suit. Lee was wearing the same thing I am but hers was in black. I really didn't bother to look at the boys clothes because they always wear the same things to me. And Noelle and Alex weren't here. They don't really hang with us. We just see them from time to time. So basically Zay, Jai, Emy, Lee and I were going. I had a Range Rover so we all hopped in that. Emy sat in the passenger seat and I drove. I guess Zay was still mad.
We made it to the party and Lee, Zay, and Jai walked off all I had was Emy.
"I see you went with dark colors." I sad to Emy
"Yesss girl but I'm going back to blonde because that's my color." Emy said pouring us drinks
"Emy you think you can let me work at your salon?" I asked
I need a immediate job. I was going to go to college but school ain't for everybody. Especially not for me.
"Yeah girl come with me next Monday." She said
I nodded and everything was cool then she seen a cute boy wall past and she followed him. Now I'm alone. I saw Jai and Lee dancing and I saw Zay sitting with a girl in his lap. He was smirking at me like I actually care. I just waved and walked off. I needed air and I was low-key ready to go home. I walked outside and before I could make it to my car somebody pushed me on the ground. I tried fighting whoever it was but I was on the ground. I kicked them in the knee but that was a horrible mistake. The person stomped on my ankle and I knew that my shit was broke. I heard it break like that shit right here hurts. Then the man grabbed me or more like snatched me up and dragged me to a ally. I knew what was going to happen so I tried to fight again but the man was way to strong. He was punching me and everything else he could think of until he stopped. He fell. I looked around to see why he did that and saw Lee with a huge ass knife in her hand. Emy had a gun. I would have thought it would be Jai but the was no where to be found.
Emy shot the dude in the chest before coming over to help me up.
"Give me the keys I'm about to bring the car closer." Lee said
I threw her the keys and she ran to the car. Emy helped me up and somewhat carried me. Then when we get out the ally Lee was there with the door opened. Lee ran to get the boys because I need to get to a hospital.
"Man why we gotta leave early?" Jai said
He hasn't seen me yet and I don't care if he does. I'm in pain and I need to go.
"WELL STAY HERE THEN." Emy yelled because the boys were complaining
They looked at Emy like she was crazy but then they looked at me because I was right next to her.
"What happened? Who did this shit?" Jai asked
"We don't know all the details but the nigga that did this got dealt with." Lee said
"Can we go now?!!" I semiyelled because the tryna have a conversation when I'm over here with a broken ankle
Zay came over and carried me. He placed me in the car and everybody piled in. He still hasn't said a word. I don't even know why and I don't care. Zay was driving so fast that you couldn't even make out the surroundings.
"Nigga slow down before we all die!!" Lee yelled it was true he did need to slow down
He probably couldn't see where he was going so fast.
"Zay it's just a broken ankle slowl down." I said my voice was weak from being choked but sure enough he slowed down
When we got there Jai carried me and rushed me to a gurney.
"MY SISTER NEEDS HELP!!" Lee yelled
Nurses came and wheeled me away.
Hours later
So I had to have surgery to put my bones back in place. Then I had a cast. I can leave now because that's the only injury I had besides some scratches and bruises. Zay was silent and had already went to the car. Jai was livid and he started punching shit so Lee too him outside so Emy was left to help me. I had crutches though.
"I guess I can't work at the salon huh?" I asked and laughed
Emy just laughed with me.
"I can make you a deal. It you bring me lunch everyday until you heal Ill pay you every week and have a spot waiting for you." Emy said
Sounds like a plan to me.
"Deal." I said and we shook hands.
When we made it outside I noticed that I need a new car because this car is to big for me to get in with a broken ankle. Zay got out the car and lifted me in like I weighed less then a paper clip. Then he drove us home and he went home. Well every one did except Jai because he lives there obviously.
I was laying in my bed when I was thinking about my family. Me and Jai don't have the same dad him and Zay do so their half brothers. Zays mama is this chick named Cameron. My dads name is Khyree. Jai's daddy never took care of him my dad did. It complicated. They kicked Jai out because they thought he had a kid on the way but turns out that he doesn't. The girl lied but when I tried to defend Jai they kicked me out too. It's a hot mess. I haven't seen my parents know what seems like years. They don't even call or send it letter. It's fucked up. Oh well I'll let them do them. But when they need me I don't wanna hear shit. Point blank period.
