L's POV
"You knew all along that she is half-Shinigami!" Light growled.
"She told me when I asked her if she knew she dressed like one. It's not like she kept it from all of us, Light."
I watched on the screens as Yagami-San sat a plate of sweets on the table in front of Haley. She growled and kicked the table, making the sweets spill on the floor. I sighed and got to my feet.
"If she keeps this up, she'll die of starvation." I said, walking around Light.
"Are you going to try and get her to eat?"
"Of course."
"Why?"
"Because I love her."
His mouth hung open as I walked up the stairs. Once I reached the door to her room, Yagami-San walked out.
"Forgive me, Ryuzaki. She won't eat anything we give her." He said.
"Let me talk to her. I'll get her to eat."
He nodded once and let me by. Haley glared at me when I stood in front of her. I pulled a button out of my pocket and pressed it.
"The camera is off." I said.
She got to her feet and stood in front of me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me.
I pulled away. "Why won't you eat?"
"Why do you have me locked in this room all day?"
I sighed and kissed her, not wanting to answer her.
