Fifteenth Chapter

                                       “Is it true that you have a demon?”

     The question that made my heart race. Crystal asked me that question out of the blue. She just slapped it at me. And I can’t think of anything right now. My hands are trembling. Even if its cold, I’m sweating like a pig.

      “Chandria, are you alright?” Crystal asked me.

      “Yeah… I’m fine…” I answered. I play with my fingers. I look everywhere except at Crystal. I don’t know how to say my answer, but I have to try anyway. “Uhhm, about your question…” I started .

      “What question?” she asked me while opening a lollipop. I didn’t  know she loves candy.

      “The one you asked me… “

      “I didn’t asked you anything…” she said emphasizing the word ‘ask’. Crystal started to suck the lollipop. And my head is pounding again.

      “Yes you did. You asked me something and you said you got it from Valmer” I said to her and my voice is rising. She just stare at me with a blank face while the stick of the lollipop is keep on moving out of her mouth. I brush my finger to my tangled hair and keep on shaking my head. I’m getting confuse.

       “Are you confuse?” crystal suddenly ask me. I look at her and her head is tilted at the side. Something is wrong with her eyes. Something is wrong with her.

      “I-I don’t know… Something is not right here…” I shake my head and face the wall. The room’s temperature is falling down. I bury my face onto my hands. Then I heard it, a familiar laugh. I turn my head towards the voice and my heart almost stop. I blink twice. Thrice. But he’s still there, sitting infront of me. Enjoying the lollipop.

      “Wh-what… h-how… yo-you can’t be….” Im stuttering. I can’t compose myself. He can’t be here. “Where’s Crystal?! Where is she?!”

      Brendrict is just staring at me intently.  As always, his eyes are glowing red.

      “Why are you here?!” I ask again. Now, Im standing in front of him. I can feel the cold floor under my bare feet. He just smirk at me.

      “Are you confuse, Chandria?” now he speak. He threw the stick of the lollipop at the corner.

      “Where is Crystal?! What did you do to her?!” my voice is shaking. I’m controlling myself not to cry.

      “She was not here. Its just you and me…” his voice is so cold.

      “No. You’re lying ! She arrived here and gave me some food. We were talking before you came. I saw here with my two eyes !!”
