Rescue Me

Shhh....

(Wolf's Pov)

"So... Why are we here again?"

"For the last fucken time Cobra, we're here to look after them, like how we always do."
"Okay, but then why do we have to wear our masks? It's so hot in here."
He said as he started to fan himself while lowering his mask that was still covering his mouth. "We can't take it off when we're around them stupid, they already know our code names, we can't reveal anything else to them."  I said while rubbing my temples due to the stress and agitation I have because of them. We have to watch over EXO while they're practicing for their new concert. One cool thing about this job I must say is that wherever the assignment goes we go too.
"That dance looks cool.'
I said to myself as I was watching them practice some new choreography for a new song they were releasing. If there's one thing a lot of people don't know about me is that I'm a pretty good dancer. My real dream was to be a Performing Arts Teacher, especially in singing and dancing. Ever since I was young I really liked music especially the kind that expresses emotions. I started singing at the age of seven and started dancing when I got into high school, the only down side:

I can't dance when people are looking at me.
The moment I make eye contact with someone I freeze, a friend of mine found a way to prevent me from freezing by having me wear a cap really low so I can't really see.  I bet you're asking why I didn't decide to do that? One word: Parents. While they were still practicing, my body started mimicking their dance moves, thankfully I was all the way in the back so they really couldn't see me. "Okay now for the chorus." Their choreographer said to them as he went to the center. He then pressed play with his small remote making the music start.
He suddenly started dancing way too fast catching all of us off guard. I turned my attention behind me to where Apollo was standing looking through his phone not even paying attention to anything else. Phoenix was talking with their staff about who knows what, and Cobra is just in a corner like me looking all around I bet completely bored out of his mind. "Okay guys, how about we take a break?" Their choreographer said as he paused the music.

"Hey guys I'ma head outside for a bit."
I said through my headset then grabbed a water bottle and went out the door to the back of the building. As soon as I got there I plopped down on the ground with a sigh, removing my earpiece since it started bugging me. I honestly didn't want to be near them, especially that stupid giant. Ugh, just the thought of him makes my head hurt. Even though I know that he's a playboy, I can't help but be drawn towards him.
"Fuck it's even hotter outside."
I said while I lifted my mouth mask to take a sip of water, not a few moments later the door suddenly opened. I instinctively turned towards the door and saw that it was their leader Suho.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I thought no one was out here."
"It's fine, you can sit down and stay here if you want. They call me Wolf but I promise you I don't bite." I said giggling as I patted a spot next to me which he gladly took while he took off his hat that he was wearing. As he was drinking his water I remembered that I still had my mask lifted. 'Shit.' I mentally slapped myself while I quickly put my mask back on. "Those masks, why do you guys wear them? Is it mandatory?" Their leader said looking at me questionably. I lowered my head and said while scratching my ear which I normally do when I'm nervous, "They're kind of our uniforms so we have to keep them on at all times; They keep our identity and who we are hidden in a way. We wear them when we go on assignments and when we come home we take them off... It kinda makes us feel like we're two different people. When we have our masks and uniforms on we're one person, but as soon as we remove it....
"It's as if we're someone else."
I then started shaking my head feeling embarrassed, "Sorry, that didn't make any sense." I said as I started laughing still embarrassed. He shook his head while looking at me, "Hahaha no it made perfect sense." He said as he smiled at me. I put my guard down that moment I noticed that he wasn't like other people, treating me and my team as if we were property.
